Alhamdulillah I myself am currently 22 months clean and finishing my studies in social auxiliary work and starting a diploma in Islamic psychology. Insha Allah with the niyat of opening an Islamic facility

Very good podcast. Maybe academy alive can advertise this podcast on the social networks to help with awareness and maybe get the rehab facility built. Well said Br Robbie the concluding remarks, if I had the contacts I would share. Alas as a revert you know the story....im also a recovering addict. I tend to keep away from people, just try to stay connected and replace being an alcoholic with being a workaholic.

As a muslim that struggles with alcoholicism, I've spent time in the hads unit at the rbwh.. you should link into qld health as the info they always provide never covers rehabilitation for Muslims. Its either non secular or Christian based. Thus I would relapse, go to hospital get the Benzos to get right.. rinse repeat. I'm a lonewolf, but it would be good if you got onto their pamphlet they give people for what helps out there. There was one dude knowing I was muslim in the hads unit, asked me about Islam then he had a seizure.. makes me think the jinn were close. Wish I recited al fatihah over him at that time, but just called for help.... There is def punishment from intoxicants, punished my savings.. anyway stopped drinking, road to recovery of the self and my finances. Alhamdu-lillah. Anyway glad I reverted from Catholicism, all thanks to Allah for guiding me and all thsnks to Allah to Allahs attributes that helps me to correct myself for the better.
