Love it! I did a similar thing years ago for a 17th Century Madrigal with my singing group, and we used large sponges, dabbed with all the colors, and then just applied to the wall. It saved on all the taping and multiple steps of coloring. Also made the "grout" lines more random. Can't wait to see Part 2.
Definitely could have done it that way and probably would have preferred it tbh. Check the ceiling vid! It’s pretty good. Hard at work on part 3 now! 🙌🙏
I did a gray color first and didn’t like it, so then I just went to Lowe’s and had them color the chalk paint to a dark brown. You can really use any color.
Your boys will never forget that you did this for them
Thanks so much! I sure hope so! 😃🙏
Now, to put some floating candles on the ceiling! You did an amazing job!!!

That wood grain was so cool
Agree! Worked way better than I thought it would!
Props to you for hand painting all that stone!
It wasn’t too bad! That sea foam sponge goes pretty quick!
Make a portkey out of something like an old suitcase and use it to deliver rewards or House Points etc.
Writing this idea down
This was like reality dyi! I love that the process looks like what I would be going through.
OUTSTANDING. Love the wood look on beds.
Thanks much! I was amazed at how well that brush did on the beds!
It looks so good when the tape comes off. Such a cool idea for an awesome effect.

Super awesome!! I'm thinking of just using stone wallpaper lol
wallpaper isn't a ton of fun, but that might be the easier route!

Thank you! 🙏🙌
Question? What is the color of chalkpaint that you use. I have a gray bed and wanted to paint the same color you have on you furniture

How durable do you think the fake stone will be?
About as durable as drywall I suppose 🤣
Were the rest of the room? I only seen 2 videos
Still working on it. Chamber of secrets closet coming soon!
