Bot Chien - Fried Rice Flour Cake with Eggs Recipe | Helen's Recipes

- Ingredients (serves 2)
For the rice flour cake
1 cup rice flour (non-glutinous "bot gao te")
1 tbsp tapioca starch
1.5 cup water
1 tsp vegetable oil
1/4 tsp salt
For the frying pan
2 tsp black soy sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 cup spring onion, chopped
For the dipping sauce
2 tbsp soy Sauce
1 tbsp white/black vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp chopped red chili pepper (optional)
For the pickles
1/2 cup carrot, shredded
1/2 cup daikon/green papaya, shredded
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp white vinegar

Lol - these dishes are probably ok in Vietnam as its really hot and you sweat out all the calories. But I am pretty sure if I make this in UK, I wont be able to get out the front door - will the just enjoy the video. All recipes are fantastic!
