Hi my grandaughter and I are going in December 2024 so looking forward to it . Your video has made me super excited to be going.Your coats look really warm struggling to know what the best one to get. Looking forward to watching the next one
We hope you both have an amazing time. It's easily the most unique country we've ever visited. We spent a little more than we would do normally on our choice of coats and can whole heartedly say they were worth every penny. Whatever you take, try to later up and always have thermals to stay nice and toasty 😊

The tour guide was saying that their language hasn't changed all that much since the Vikings settled, loads of viking souvenir shops over there too 😅👍 lots of beliefs about trolls too it was very interesting ☺️

Hi Miha welcome aboard! 😊 We did indeed, we booked the holiday through TUI and they included a trip of the golden circle on the 2nd day! 👍 Lots of tours of the golden circle can also be found on Viator 😊

Hi we just layered up with thermals underneath our clothes, fleece is great for warmth and a good coat with gloves and thick socks

Thank you for watching! We both took a good pair of walking boots with us which did us just fine. We do actually wish we'd had some form of crampons but didn't take any with us. Even walking around the city was tough going and icy in places 👍
Yes, Geysir the big dormant geyser is the one that the english word geyser is derived from. At least it is what we are told here in Iceland. The Icelandic word for geyser is “goshver”. So for us Geysir is just the name for that particular geyser.

Hey! The camera we used is a insta360 Onex and we used the stick that came with ours! Is that drone footage of the gunfoss falls or can you get that close with your camera?
We used our Insta 360 for many of the shots in this video. It's a camera on a very long stick. We look hilarious but it gets the results 😅👌Didn't take a drone to Iceland in the end, but I think we supplemented a few shots with stock drone footage too 👍
where did you eat after the Geysirs?
Hi Ray it was at Gullfoss - there is a cafe with a shop and they had prepared a lamb stew for our tour before we walked down to the waterfall 🤗
