In the '70's, the golden circle route was much longer, mostly on Rt.1, with side trips to fun & amazing places, about 5 days.

Pretty cool video and I really hope you've enjoyed/are enjoying the stay. I just wanna mention that the geyser that you guys saw is Strokkur, Geysir stopped being active like decades ago and only goes of once a year or less
We did the Stryta,Silfra and Davids crack.And i recomend all of them.
Wow, just can’t believe what length you guys go to for entertaining us viewers…fantastic! I can’t think of anything more exciting than dressing up and jumping on the back of a horse then riding off into the wild beyond or should we say rain, wet, muddy and cold Icelandic wilderness. You are now wet, smelly, muddy and your ass hurts I’m glad you took one for the viewing team. 😂. Being born and raised in Florida I just can’t wrap my head around diving in frigid water…give me Emerald green warm water for sure. Great video and to have that monstrous water fall park to yourself is unbelievable. Photo opportunity of the decade! Stay safe guys…also… I bought the Tripped backpack it’s working out great…love it.

TIP for anyone else visiting Iceland: You can book rooms that feature blackout curtains, but in our experience, those curtains don’t always lay flush with the wall or stay closed at the edges to actually block all the light. You still need a good sleep mask! 🦉💤😴
