Guitar demo and pedal review of the Dark Star from Old Blood Noise Endeavors.
"The Dark Star is what we would use to create long reverberated pads. The noises underneath the lead. The mood setter. That's the Dark Star. The way a song feels. That's because of the Dark Star.At its heart, the Dark Star is a Reverb. Then the Reverb signal passes through three possible modes: Pitch, Delay and Crush. CTRL 1 and CTRL 2 correspond with the selected mode. In Pitch, you've got two independent pitch controls for + and - an octave. In Delay, you've got the Delay Time and Delay Feedback. In Crush, you've got a pitch control for +/- an octave and then a control for Bit Crush. Keep it up man, your ch is far and above other demo channels I'm really glad I found it. I know you don't have a ton of traction yet, but be patient and just keep doin what you are and keep making stuff you are happy with. It'll get noticed and start showing up in recc feeds because it is quality. Really good combo of quality production and demo songs but with realistic attainability for the average player. I found your channel on a search for a demo of the EAE FET that wasnt a rat pedal on stun into it and subbed immediately and went back and watched everything you had. I know you are buying pedals out of pocket at this point, but as some juncture would be cool to see proper demos of the eae dude incredible and OxEAE boost, don't feel like they have been properly shown yet...Meaning, you understand how to integrate pedals into a rig sonically and get it working together harmoniously to bring out it's best quality. 🤘👍

It's not the most useful pedal I own, but it's one of my favorites. Sometimes I just sit there and make vibey ambient tones and get absolutely lost playing with it.

With my band Sands of Polaris we only have 2 Songs on Bandcamp. Live recording in the studio. Pretty decent but nothing special at the moment. Hope there’s more to come next year but our bass player moved to Australia this year and we need to get our new bass player ready first. But let’s see what 2023 brings right ? 🤟🏼
Finally, someone using this pedal with distortion/fuzz! Except for Abe on his channel Cloud Factory Sound. He isn't really active there, but he made full band tracks for the pedal, which helps us that aren't heavy ambient players.

I would mix the Old Endeavours Dark Star with the Keeley Dark Star pedal. I think they would creat an amazing soundscape!

Mixing the pedal with two other pedals makes this video completely worthless to me. I came here to hear the pedal in the description not your performance.
