do you think his style of football would work at the top level? i couldn't imagine this risky build up and having players out wide and giving away so much counter attacking space in the middle would work against a fast direct team.

It’s hard because when you’re at an elite club you’re more likely to face low blocks and teams force you to grind out results, if would depend on how he adapts to scenarios.
My biggest issue with managers on the rise at less established clubs is how they translate to moving into the elite bracket.
@@jacobhorsfall with that much space in the middle he gives up and having limited numbers on his defensive line, a good low block and counter team would cause really big problems i feel.
if he does go to the top level, i doubt he'll play a system like this one tbh
