  • I once again hopped on the train and headed to an area of the city I'd never been to before to explore a new Hard Off and hopefully find some retro gaming goodness.

I like the momentary diversion to the Shrine, its interesting to see those things, hopefully you can give a moment to other culturally significant/different things in your future vg travels

Thanks, Jim. Awesome video. Thanks especially for telling us where you go instead of many other UA-camrs who seem to conveniently leave that out!

Even the Bookoff in NYC just has books, mangas, music CDs, illustration books. No used games. Thanks for store visits and places in Japan 👍

You'd think going to a shrine would be more serene, but those cicadas were popping the f off, holy shnikes.

Visiting the shrine was a very welcome feature for me! One of my favourite things when being in a Japaneese city was stumbling upon a nice looking temple or shrine on my way to something else! So this really takes me back! Also, good Hard Off indeed!

Great content! You should consider getting a gimble or some sort of stabilizer for your vlogs. Love your vids of walking exploration to video game stores.

Any idea why Majora’s Mask was sold in a big box in Japan (seen around 10:51)? Was the expansion pack included, which I believe was required to play the game? It was sold separately or as a pack-in with DK64 in the States, but not with Majora’s Mask.

Cool video as usual, just a piece of advice, be really cautious when you film in public places like a crowded street, especially when you walk behind a woman like the one appearing around 00:53. Being a man and moreover a foreigner, you don’t want to face any accusation (understand: you’re guilty and you’ll have to prove you’re not) resulting you being in big trouble (similar to what can happen on the train if a female accuses you of sexual harassment).
    Cheers
