The manual says to not drink the first gallon because it cleans out the lines. I didn't put the filter in for the first gallon, because if they don't want me to drink it, I don't want to contaminate a filter with it.
We recently bought one of these. I also obtained a water tester (TDS meter). The water which this gives has only 1 to 2 ppm of solids after filtering. We bought an extra glass jug with it so we can run two loads and have water in reserve. This will pay for itself as we no longer have to buy bottled water. You can also add trace minerals back in if you are concerned about drinking pure water.

Again, there was absolutely no information on the instructions about the outlet or charcoal sachet location. Lucky I watched this before doing what I thought I should.....and stuffing things up. 10 points to you good sir.
Thank you for the well instructional video, just got mine arrived an hour ago.Guess I can use it straight away without the glass jar handle being fixed because I can't find any screw driver at home.
I have the exact same one. But after 2.5 years of use I'm seeing the bottom of the distiller is wearing to point that it seems to be leaking from small divited areas where the heating element was welded on. A yellowish crust was forming at the outside bottom, and the inside appears to have divits in the stainless steel that are cracking. Wish I could fix this but will hopefully be able to get another one under warranty.
So I bought a similar one to this but mine is progammable so you can do water, wiskey or anything else as long as you know the boiling point of the liquid that you are interested in. I find if you preheat the water before starting you get approx 1 litre per hour at 850w per hour so thats twice the price of a 2 l bottle of Aldi water not taking into account the cost of petrol to go to the store and the slight contamination of plastic from the bottle so thats 20p per litre. One thing I noticed on a lot of the reviews that people show was the stuff thats left in the bottom of the pot. The first time I used it I let it boil to empty and even thought the tap water was "clean" there was a tea spoon of brown gunk left. so I never let it boils dry, and never fill it all the way up to the top, just half it then top its up every hour. I wonder if Rogers still uses his.

Seek this product out in brick and mortar stores. I got one for $400 in 2022
Well Roger, can't see the promised update anywhere.
I can guarantee I never promised anything. The update is, it’s far too expensive to run, so I have a Berkey water filter on my worktop.
Yeah, I've came to that conclusion myself, so haven't ordered anything. Thanks for reply.
should the reset button light up
Do you still use a distiller?.
Hello should you leave it unattended while running it, on a full gallon?
You can leave it unattended as it will automatically switch off when the water has boiled dry. Just make sure it is on a firm surface with plenty of space around it.
test osmosis and distillation together
It still working?
You can speed up productions really fast. Like higher Distilled Water yielding. I have a video in my channel showing you how.
The plastic top and nozzle are not good can’t they changed to glass or stainless steel ?
The inside of the plastic top is lined with stainless steel and the plastic nozzle has a glass lining. The water doesn't touch plastic.
that little orange bottle was a very odd shape😂
I couldn't find your update about the unit
Roger do you still drink distilled water?.. you said you would do an update video after a while but I cant find one? What is your opinion on distilled water? Thanks 👍
I drink distilled water at hard training 2h/day, about 1liter.. I have no issues with my muscles or bones. For better filtration use two activated carbon filter for 2 months. Birds and animals drink rainwater (distilled water).
hi roger i,ve got a daewoo halogen oven which,I suspect will do the same job. I cant find any model.numbers but it look like your thing but its got a glass bowl what do you thinc
No, your halogen oven will not distill water, but will probably boil it.
4liters = 1 gallon
Also if you're using filtered water, you shouldn't need the charcoal filters.
