Thank you for trying this recipe. After watching last evening, I went to the market today and picked up 10 lbs. of pork tenderloin. Looking forward to making this BBQ on the weekend for 8 oz. jars. Single life!
@@hamakuahomestead7741 have you tried any of your jars? Did it turn out good? I am concerned about using the sugar as I’ve used store-bought sauces and had a charred kind of texture. It was kind of cool like being on the grill, but I’d like to avoid it. The brown sugar and other things you added seem approved. So, Giving it a go! Pretty excited! I couldn’t find the recipe online. Do you have the link? Thank you!
@@hamakuahomestead7741 Wow! I have 30 minutes left on my canner, however, I’m just finishing some pork with the barbecue sauce for dinner. It is incredible! I will have you know that I added a little chicken broth to thin it out just in the beginning. Added the onions and garlic to cut them down a little bit and then everything else. It is amazing! Thank you!
How did the texture turn out? I am new to canning meat, and I have a weird thing about textures, so I'm just wondering if this turned out like it would have if it had been grilled or smoked, as far as texture or if it is mushy?

Looks great! What cut of pork did you use?
It was the shoulder. (Which I recently learned is the butt roast… go figure) yum!
Those look AMAZING! Now if only I had some pork 😂
You could do the same with beef!
I'm picking up pork butt this week and will be trying this. Thank you
Yes! It turned out extra saucy. We like it a lot. About a recipe and a half of pork and 2 recipes of sauce. Perfect!
