- Howl Of A Dog Rescue Video Helping the Homeless. Each time a rescued dog gets adopted another homeless abandoned dog can be saved. This is the magic of adoption. We want to dedicate this video to all the wonderful people in this world who have opened their hearts and homes and adopted an animal in need.
Pet overpopulation is a global problem. With millions of animals in need of adoptive homes, many people may get discouraged and believe that adopting one single animal will not change or improve the overall situation. When in fact the reality is just the opposite. The adoption of that ONE dog makes possible the saving of another dog in need, due to the place that it frees up. Most animal shelters are overcrowded with animals waiting to be adopted and rescuers are able to take in another animal only after the ones they already have in care have found adoptive homes. Some animal shelters are forced to make difficult decisions and euthanize pets to make space for incoming animals.
Each adoption creates space for another animal in need to be rescued and find lasting love through the wonder of adoption.
Without adoptions, the rescue work cannot continue. If that one dog does not get adopted, none of the millions of homeless dogs waiting for a chance can be saved.

Nearly three weeks ago we started fostering a beautiful dog, two weeks after we returned to finalize the adoption. Happiest day of my life; I met the dog who sleeps with me every night, and never leaves my side.

Onions, plates of them everywhere, sniffle sniffle sob. Gorgeous, heart rending, heart mending video. I long for another dog, mine, Archie RIP 2012, has been gone 5 years now. I have 8 cats however, rescues all including one who had 4 thus giving us the 8! ADOPT ADOPT ADOPT NEVER SHOP. Buying animals as pets should be illegal whilst so many thousands live on the street or in a refuge. Peace lil doggies, and love and shoes to chew and a warm bed.

This brought tears of boy joy and sadness to my eyes. I'm not in a position to take care of a dog right now. When I am ready though, adoption from a shelter will be be my choice. I've believed in adoption before buying pets for a long time. Thank you for the good work.

I cannot remember one day of my life that I didn't have a pet and I'm 60yrs old.I also was a vet tech for 16yrs.Rescued animals make the very best pets.Grateful and loyal.I wish I could adopt more,but it's hard to now finances being low.God bless those of you who can adopt and do.

When I was watching I thought they were all going to be left behind.......till they were ALL saved!!! I was soooo happy for them ALL, I was just crying all over my board. This is one of the BEST videos I have seen about this, FANTASTIC job on EVERYTHING!!! this should be seen by ALL, at schools, on tv, as a commercial, conventions, movie theater, colleges.....everywhere!! To see them soooo scared, shy, bewildered, hungry, injured, loving, timid.....an then to see them afterwards, their changed in EVERY way.....they even look happy, playing, fed, playing with friends, warm beds, safe place to live, no worries.....just a LOVING home with some of the most caring, compassionate & loving people in the world!!! Peace!!

It's always been my dream to rescue animals in need, I'm only 15 right now and my parents won't let me, but when I get older I plan on adopting and rescuing animals that need me.
My heart almost broke at the beginning. Animals don't deserve to die. I have adopted a golden doodle at age 3 months. I named him Cody. These dogs like Cody are better than you think. Save their life.
Such a nice video, so full of hope. We always had dogs at home since I was 11, and all of them were adopted. It would not even cross my mind to go to a breeder and buy a dog.
It's a wonderful feeling to adopt an animal from a shelter!!! Everyone should do it!! I just wish I could adopt more. I have 1 dog and 3 cats!! All spoiled rotten and loved so much!!

Every time you drive-look for a homeless dog to rescue.
I love this video I currently live in a third world country , myself from europe , I passed by a pet shop to Find two Tiny fles ridden underfed chihauhaus . I bought them on the spot and went straight to the vet to have them vaccinated for everything. On further inspection the vet found out the male was approximatly ten years old and all his teeth were on the verge of falling. Also his nails were grown in a curl back into his skin. I took them home a scedualed annew appointment two days later to get them both Well fed and flealess first. The dr cut his nails and the poor old thing was sedated he had to remove all his front teeth and he scaled the rest. Now three months on he is so attached to me I cant go to the bathroom alone , all he wants to do is be beside me all day . The female just Needed a good feeding and is a happy two Year old now . The male has several medical problems however I do my best to keep him Healthy . So he lives his days out in peace 💋❤

i am a man of 57 years old and have since i can remember have had dogs around our home . in my walk of life i have loved and lost loved ones but crazy as it seems i go to pieces when ever I see the vulnerability of a dog just showing its heart to someone who is fortunate to capture that brief moment that can turn that little life around ...i am a real softy when it comes to animals especially our canine four legged furry friend....the humble dog . I adopted a dog that was abandoned on on a box w her brother in a box she had lost fur because she was by fecies and her mom was gone at 4 weeks old this video shows goodness for humanity.

Most of us have adopted dogs. There are lots of poor, sad, dumped and lonely friends waiting for you at your local shelter/pound.

One of the dogs looks like one of my dogs that I had adopted. He is now 15 years old and he might have a brain tumor. The vets put him on meds because he also has joint pain. But we are hoping for the best. I also rescue 3 other dogs off the street. I love every one of them. I also cremete my pets . Somehow These dogs know that they have a second chance once you take them home. They are loved and they give alot of love. Beautiful stories. I love this video. Keep up the good work with finding lost dogs and good homes.
Mary don’t cremate your pets! Bury them in your backyard if you can. That way you can visit their grave. And whatever you do, never ever leave them at the vet. You don’t want to know how they handle the dogs body or cats body once they’re put down. It’s not good
