Excellent video as per usual! Her hair is beautiful! I can really see this helping me retain more length by keeping my hair straighter/stretched and drastically reducing breakage and difficulty from blow drying with a paddle brush.
Hi Tamika I purchased my revair back in October. Finally getting my routine down pack on using it. I’ve used on my sister and she gifted me the wand holder, an extra filter and the carrying bag 🥰
It does take a few tries to get the routine down but once you do, it’s awesome. Glad you got the holder and extras. You’re sister was so sweet for doing that!
Wash day is so stressful for me and my daughter for her nearly waist length, very densely packed 4b hair. Takes me 8 hrs to wash, detangle, blow dry, and flat iron her hair. This looked so satisfying. Gonna check out more of your videos. My hair is short and tight 4 C but is easier to manage when wet. But it is also dense and I don’t have the patience to get through allllllll of that hair with a blow dryer so I fro mine out. And 2 strand twist hers which takes about 3.5 hrs. If I could find a dryer to help her…….. I’m willing to lay the price for it.
They have the RevAir products recommended for the device but I don't like them. I'll stick with what works for me, Super Skinny is one of the products I love. I found that using the RevAir I don't have to flatiron my relaxed hair. It's heavy and very niosy, those are the drawbacks to it.
Within a few minutes of watching your video you have confirmed my thoughts-the RevAir is a great tool if the user knows how to use it. There are many giving the RevAir a “bad rap” because they don’t know how to use it. The first time I used I loved it but I use it to stretch my hair on low heat-I do not want “bone straight” hair because I twist my hair and wear it down whenI’m ready. Great video!!
Thank you, so much for explaining this thoroughly. I just received mine yesterday, used it and now I see what I was doing wrong because my roots were not completely dry. So many people doing videos on how to use and they were so wrong. Again, thank you. You saved me from returning it.
Just look at it as an investment. I see naturals all the time spending much more on their human hair units and frontals. I think they have a Valentine’s Day sale going on.
I decided to get it because I have 2 daughters (and myself) who have natural hair. It cost around $400 but i was able to split the payment into 4 bi-weekly payments on their site. I was done paying in no time , like $87 each payment. Totally worth it! This is by far the best instruction video! Thank you for posting this!
want to invest in one! usually, expensive hair gadgets don't really impress me and this one is the first to show through many videos..how much time it cuts down. I rely on the tension method a lot-I don't like using the attach on brush and combs due to bad experiences using them- so a tension method that will give almost a straight hair look really sold me! like--finally something that equals to the "expensive price" don't get me wrong, I wish to get it a bit cheaper LOL! not sure if I'll wait to see if they make a more portable smaller version so that they will cut this price in half. However, I don't blame em...it does a pretty good job. Expensive to save time I guess.
I finally broke down and bought this being eyeing it for over a year as a straight natural I really think this will simplify my life. I straightened my hair for easy maneability and styling hope I like it because it is expensive.
I just learned how to get my roots 😔😔thank you so much! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾I have had mine for 3yrs and I love it the clips and don’t get me started on the water bottle🔥🔥🔥
The way the cuticles lie so flat, it gives such a healthy look; you cannot do that with a blow dryer, this is really good - & it's beautifully straight from the roots - no need for damaging straightening tools after this at all. I prefer naturally curls but this is a good option🙏💜
OMG I need this for mine and my daughters hair. I will save so much money doing this myself then going to the salon but I will still treat myself time to time with my girl at the salon
This video tutorial makes me want to buy a revair blowdryer for me personally. You did an excellent job on the starigthening. My hair is very thick/coarse 4c and I am excited to try ! Thank you!
It truly is. I feel the same way. Blow drying with no breakage in about 15-20 minutes. Now my blow drys look like my old flat irons lol. My flat irons now look salon perfect. The roots even get smoothed out and dry (I was worried about that the most). I’m 4b btw.
Great demo. The revair is not available outside of the US and Canada, leaving millions of customers out of this amazing tool. My 13 year old would love this as she has very kinky hair from our African heritage. I shall wait patiently.
I love my revair dryer and it works on all hair types. Just for type 4 level 7 and high heat is how I use mine. No heat damage and it is worth the coin and investment.
Hi tamika, I found the rev air to be drying on my hair. Similar to a blow dryer. I used a silicon based serum as a heat protectant as well. I have 4c high porosity hair. Do you think this just doesn’t perform as well on my hair type? Or should I have moisturized my hair first? I used it on low heat setting 6. My hair was straight but not smooth and quite dry
Yeah high porosity hair and a silicon heat protectant equals drying. I highly recommend using briogeo blow dry cream which has no silicons. Your hair will thank you!
Just when I thought the brush dryer was the bomb, I came across (correction) GOD lead me to this video!!😁😁. Thank you for sharing this video!! I will definitely be investing in this hair dryer!! Be Blessed and Stay Safe.❤
Either too much product, not detangling fully at the roots before using, or poor technique. Tamika uses the opening to smooth the roots. My roots get very smooth and dry but I make sure the finest comb can get through my roots before blow dry. I also use a small amount of serum. The products matter because some will make your hair feel dry, I’ve had that happen. (If you wanna know what I use after washing and deep conditioning (I always deep condition with heat for 20 minutes once a week) I use Olaplex bond smoother leave in, 1 pump of Aussie’s total miracle hair oil (the best!), then to detangle I section my hair then first use my argan oil infused wide tooth comb by the ‘cricket’ brand (highly recommend), then the red and orange vent brush by the brand plugged in- making sure to get my roots, followed up by their pink detangling paddle brush-also by plugged in which is sold at sally beauty- making sure to get the roots). Then use the Revair (I use it on level 7 with heat) on each fully detangled section making sure I use the pink detangling paddle brush again right before putting my hair in the machine making sure to smooth the roots using the mouth like Tamika. It sounds like a lot but it’s really not. Get ready for sleek!)
Just give it some time and practice. I have a slight advantage over everyone because at one time I was using it all day long at the salon so I was able to get my routine down pretty quickly.
Interesting! Saves time and money in the long run because it operates as a blow dryer and flat iron all in one! I would rename it the HAIR VACUUM OR HAIRVAC!
Wow!!! Thank you for the video I didn't know this exist. This would be great on my daughter's hair and myself. We have very thick grade of hair. In fact my daughter's hair exactly like the young lady in the chair❤
Like the texture it leaves the hair, after that I would just curl it up no more straightening or anything especially if the hair is thin it'll make it look thicker.
Does the rev air work well on 4c hair? My daughter recent cut half of her length off due to breakage and damage and I’m looking for a tool to help her manage her hair but with minimal amount of heat damage. Does this give off a lot of heat while drying the hair sections? Would you recommend this for someone with 4c hair to use on a weekly basis after wash? We aren’t looking for a silk press type straight just manageable for the week so she can comb it out and style it on her own. Any feedback would be great!
What I don't understand is Revair says not to use oils and butters but the leave ins they sell have oils and butters. One literally has 4-5 different oils and another has shea butter, one of the heaviest butters!

Stop killing me. It’s still out of stock in the UK 😩😩
You did an amazing job 👍👌
Tell me about it 😰😰😰
Does it come with a Euro plug 🔌
@@notyourfrind9415 I have no idea sorry.
Have never seen this in Africa ,and I like it much is good for Africans heir.
I just got my hands on one from ebay 🙌
OMG I need this for mine and my daughters hair. I will save so much money doing this myself then going to the salon but I will still treat myself time to time with my girl at the salon
She by Sheree is that you narrating?
Doesn't she sound just like Sheree!? Lol.
This video tutorial makes me want to buy a revair blowdryer for me personally. You did an excellent job on the starigthening. My hair is very thick/coarse 4c and I am excited to try ! Thank you!
OMG! This is revolutionary!
It truly is. I feel the same way. Blow drying with no breakage in about 15-20 minutes. Now my blow drys look like my old flat irons lol. My flat irons now look salon perfect. The roots even get smoothed out and dry (I was worried about that the most). I’m 4b btw.
So I can stop relaxing or perming my hair?
Great demo. The revair is not available outside of the US and Canada, leaving millions of customers out of this amazing tool. My 13 year old would love this as she has very kinky hair from our African heritage. I shall wait patiently.
This is a TRUE blowout..no pun intended 😂...So simple and quick..no need for a flat iron
OMG! I didnt think that thing worked well! Now i see it's actually WORTH IT!!!!
Yes. It has a small learning curve as with any new product but it works very well.
Her ended up looking relaxed Haha
Wow first time I heard about this hair dryer and I'm like 😳😳😳 it let the hair beautiful 🥰 thanks for sharing how to use it. I loved it
I would like to see on very kinky hair - z shaped textured
Girl....
**edit**
It doesn't matter the texture.
I love my revair dryer and it works on all hair types. Just for type 4 level 7 and high heat is how I use mine. No heat damage and it is worth the coin and investment.
@@sherriokere1192 Thank you.
I'm 4c and it works like a dream on me. I'm just not sure how often I should be putting heat on my hair and if it will ultimately cause damage 🤔🤷🏽♀️
@02:46 Wow.... I was not expecting it to be so straight and smooth....
@@bonitapandora wow, thank you for sharing this with us
You're the 1st I've seen use this. Game changer bayyyybeyyyyy. One tool, doing so much, skipping other steps. Oh bayyyybeyyyyy.
I got some thick hair...if I can get my hair this straight after a blow dry, I'd definitely pay for this dryer...and I'm definitely going natural
Just when I thought the brush dryer was the bomb, I came across (correction) GOD lead me to this video!!😁😁. Thank you for sharing this video!! I will definitely be investing in this hair dryer!! Be Blessed and Stay Safe.❤
Awesome. Thank you!
You won’t regret it
I really like the revair but my hair is crunchy at the root
Me too Simone. 🙁
@@likemycommentifyouwantareply I thought you weren't supposed to use oils with this thing.
Ghost Writer: really? What is your hair texture - if you don’t mind my asking? Just wondering if this works on 4c / 4d super kinky!
The results are just... 😍🤩Do you think I can do this method biweekly without experiencing any damage? Thanks in advance!
I bought mine it finally came in the other day I like but I don’t love it yet still using it trying got the hang of it
Just give it some time and practice. I have a slight advantage over everyone because at one time I was using it all day long at the salon so I was able to get my routine down pretty quickly.
Great video, thanks for the tips..I did feel lik my hair was brittle after using this the first time, I will use a leave in conditioner next time
Beautiful hair!!! 😍 how often does she straighten?
Awwww. Thank you ☺️ About every 2-3 weeks.
@@SimplyTamika has that lead to any loosening of texture?
Interesting! Saves time and money in the long run because it operates as a blow dryer and flat iron all in one! I would rename it the HAIR VACUUM OR HAIRVAC!
I love my Rev Air ❤️❤️❤️ This is a great demonstration 👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽
Wow!!! Thank you for the video I didn't know this exist. This would be great on my daughter's hair and myself. We have very thick grade of hair. In fact my daughter's hair exactly like the young lady in the chair❤
THE SHRINKAGE IS REAL...LUV IT!!!!
yes nice to see a vid with someone who learned how to use it
Thank you for the info, I've been pumping. Side to side, noted! Thank you sis!
Like the texture it leaves the hair, after that I would just curl it up no more straightening or anything especially if the hair is thin it'll make it look thicker.
Same! I do wand curls after blowing it out with the Revair and I love how full it looks from that added bit of texture vs. straightening first.
None of the other videos have hair that comes out this straight, she needs to teach these other girls out here.
They trippin. Too scared of “heat damage” to use it correctly.
@@likemycommentifyouwantareply Ahh, that what it is...stupes.
This girl also has hair that's already heat damaged and so will straighten easier but she did a fantastic job
@@Kikiii696 normally you can tell when tge ends are straighter than the roots
Omg👀 I need this hair vaccume ASAP!
I have that serum and it is amazing!! I am so exited to try this technique thank you 💖
The hair came out really good
Thanks!
Awwww. Thank you ☺️
Thank you so much for making this video on how to PROPERLY use it. ,❣️
I love my Revair. Had it over a year and would buy it again.
Me too
This is amazing, literally can't wait to use this on my sister's and my hair. We'll never use a flat iron again after getting this. Just wow
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE RESULTS OF FLAT IRONING HAIR THAT'S BEEN DRYED WITH REVAIR
Me too
Same, guess I better buy 1
I have other videos with me using the RevAir and doing a silk press after.
Thank you for for this awesome demonstration. I will be purchasing this for my thick hair
Literally the best tutorial on how to use the ReVair. Amazing video!
Awwww. Thank you ☺️
So I just watched your videos and used my revair the way you suggested it and baby this blowout is nice thank you now I can start putting it to use
What I don't understand is Revair says not to use oils and butters but the leave ins they sell have oils and butters. One literally has 4-5 different oils and another has shea butter, one of the heaviest butters!
A serum is all you need.
I agree
Forget that new iPhone I’m buying this
& the Paul Mitchell & the comb..
Thank You Gurl…
You’re welcome and good luck to you!
LOL!!!
Wish I was willing or afford to buy this. Lol. My hair is thick. I’d rather use this though.
Wow! I hadn’t even heard of this product!!!! I will def be purchasing for my family.
This demonstration makes me want this machine! 👍🏾
The best results I've ever seen with the REV ✨
Thank you so much!
... I clicked because I thought you were using a *vaccum* ! Now I have an idea... 💡 lmao
Don’t do it 😂
Did it work 😭
Hahahaha
What happened??
No friggin way! This thing is unbelievable! What smart idea!!
