All About Generator Carburetor Solenoids

Hey guys here is a quick video explaining how the carburetor solenoid works on the generators. These originally are an invention by Honda but every clone / knockoff machine has them now. Basically it cuts the fuel supply to the carburetor when you turn the engine off preventing a rich condition and back fire. This happens because most generators get shut down at full RPM and cannot be brought to idle before doing so. Check it out!

please look up the Chinese "no compete agreement" that ended in 2000 or 2001..... youll learn how thats not actually a "copy" of a Honda at all.... the GN designation on engine should be a huge clue

Dude this piece of crap is like 4 years old it's an exact copy of a GX right down to the 8mm nuts holding the inner airbox together...
