I admit, there chai is fantastic, i was sceptical at first but they arte the best chai stall in London, yeah we can say we make better at home but I haven't bought a chai in London that tastes as good as theres

They sound so good! Especially theur dedication to experimentation & pastries and how they're infusing dhokla & Kashmiri chai too! Like they're really knowledgeable on there! We definitely need them in India too! Especially those pastries OMG ❤
Really good find, thank you. Well balanced presentation and review. The chai looks authentic and hopefully will taste same. Will be interesting to try muska-bun. Not sure so much about dhokla. On my itinerary when I come down to London. Thank you
Wow absolutely amazing to hear I’ll definitely going & trying it out all those 3 chais & dhoklas & pastries too they’ve got it right & maybe introduce the other bun they mentioned but keep to what they do best now & wishing you all the very best of success you’re both incredible amazing guys to have opened up this must go place thank you & for sharing too ❤🙏🏼😎
the suggestions will be endless coz there are as many types of chai and even more types of snacks that go with them in various places around india. But i'm very impressed with what you guys already have going there. The 3 types of chai are classic and arguably the most popular in india, plus who doesn't like dhoklas?! relatively healthier snack too, as compared to say a samosa
Woooowwww, i like this idea and fell in love with this place virtually. 👌🤩 I will definitely visit this bakery as soon as possible because Chai is my most favourite hot beverage.😋
You can buy it online if you want to buy their chai blend for making chai at home! But yes I'm sure they will look at opening outside of London one day :)
very well done video! Perhaps there is room for pho chaa, the Tibetan salt butter tea. It is a favorite of mine and is especially wonderful where the weather is cold, rainy or gloomy. Since they already have a salty Kashmiri chai, adding pho cha would create a symmetry, 2 salty, 2 sweet. Plus, there are a fair number of Tibetans and those who love the Tibetan culture in and around London. The publicity value alone would be not inconsiderable, especially if paired with khabse, on the occasion of Losar, the Tibetan New Year. Surely there are business or government grants to enhance the multi-cultural aspects of enjoying London's diverse culinary scene. British Devon and other butters are very, very good, Bun maska, and Pho Cha containing cream from Ayrshire cows, would be successfull.
I think the perfect answer would be the humbke tealeaves. It takes the backseat in the conversation about chai with all the spices and possibilities, but chai can be made in the absence of wvery other ingredient but the tealeaves.
Lali: you should serve bun maska Me: you should serve khari biskut and rusk! Great vid! I'll definitely visit these guys when I'm in London! Love from Mumbai ❤
Nice video! Took you 3 years to edit and finalize it, so it was worth the wait! ;) Thanks for the tip; dropped a pin in my Google Maps for stopping in when I'm next visiting London.
In the U.K. vegan means no dairy products at all. There are no non dairy vegan products but there is a vegan chai. Eggless … I’m not sure you’d have to ask.
the Assam chai; dark, malty, and bold. A good base on which to layer all those spices and flavors and without which it would not quite be a good chai! :)
Best decision ever was to substitute my daily coffee for daily masala chai. Not a weekday goes by without an obligatory trip to Chai Guys Spitalfields near where I work.
Have tasted Ladakhi pink chai with salt and Yak butter in it … might be similar to the Kashmiri one… and indeed after the 2nd sip it tastes fine specially at those heights 😊
Please ask them make one more version "Shelajet/Shelajit Chai" it is slight salty and bitter. So you have to add more sugar. Or few drops of it in "Kadak Chai". Sheelajit good for joint pain/back pain cough and cold. Some people say it has aphrodisiac quality, but it is much more then that.
Masala chai and normal chai is different. In most parts of India you get Masala infused Chai, whereas in my native Kerala its milk tea. People don't prefer masala.
Given London's rain prone weather where is the onion pakoda, it will be a match made in heaven. Cutting chai and Onion pakoda. Really hope they sell it there
Only things missing are the green and yellow tuktuk inside the shop or for that matter a recording of a railway platform announcing arrival or departure of trains !!!
Chai is a nourishing beverage, it doesn't up your adrenaline like caffeine does, but still it has healthy ingredients like masalas which are time tested since ancient times for inner health

I got so happy when I saw the Dhokla!! I just had Dhokla this morning for breakfast and It’s my favourite 😂❤
That bakery section made me drool. Loved the infusion and creativity. Love from Mumbai - India.
Can’t wait to pay a visit. Thanks for sharing with us this interesting place 😋
My pleasure 😊
Where is the pakodas? Rainy days in London needs a nice hot plate of onion bhaji / fritters / pakodas.
100%! Also, I do hope that if they make pakoras, then they dont deviate much from the original.

Ah thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Hopefully you’ll get to experience chai guys chai soon!
I would be sugar because I am sweet. Wow what a wonderful line.
Pronouncing Masala, Kulhad, Dhokla so perfectly... 😯
Nice Video
It helps having learnt to speak Hindi in evening classes. I still make a lot of mistakes pronouncing things though 🤦🏼♀️
I am glad you are making effort to learn Hindi. It will open whole new world for you in terms of Pakistani and North Indian people
OMG that chai au raisin made me drool. Will certainly seek out the shop next time in London

Your forgetting the Samosa. Chai and samosa is the classic combination.

Good idea but not the first there are plenty of chai places across the uk! But respect for making a business that is thriving! Go support!
Great. Keep it going - Good luck to Chai team. Nice video.🎉
Love from Auckland.. Everyday starts with masala chai.. Need that to refresh and get ready for work😄
Excellent interview. Well done you Boys. Many Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks 🙏🏻
A lot of people might don't know but cardamom is like vanilla for Indians..we use cardamom for desserts for Aroma just like vanilla...
The Chai based pastries sound amazing , gonna try soon 😊
Hope you enjoy ☺️
Excellent and I am here in the US salivating.

This is brilliant, very very authentic Indian Chai, bring it to other UK cities, will sell

Wish to be there to go to this place. As brazilian I would like to know if it s possible to make indian chai as a cold drink for summer time.
Yeah! In the summer they do iced chai it’s nice 👌🏻
LOL Indians drink hot tea even if it's 50 degree outside and that too in open environment with no AC just fan.....
Indian chai 💪👌
Wow got to go there 👌🏼
when did you originally shoot this video? is this a bakery you regularly go to and just recently shoot this vlog?
Never heard of this. Im excited to see.
Update: my sis stole the kulad when we went to india in december. Glad to know you can buy them here.
I don’t think you can buy them there yet, they just serve them in kulhad if you having the chai inside.
If you were an ingredient in a Masala Chai, which would you be and why?
I be the Masala and the Sugar.
the Assam chai; dark, malty, and bold. A good base on which to layer all those spices and flavors and without which it would not quite be a good chai! :)

Market it as Indian Viagra tea.
This chai place looks really popular
They should also offer Parle's glucose biscuits to go with the masala chai.
Parle's eaten after being dipped in the chai........ ❤️
They do offer those in some of the stalls.
Masala chai and normal chai is different. In most parts of India you get Masala infused Chai, whereas in my native Kerala its milk tea. People don't prefer masala.

Haha great suggestions but they’ve got their own unique simplistic style and I think it works nicely.
Go down Whitechapel youll get the same chai for £1 available in nearly all Bengali corner shop cafés
Not true at all. You might get cheaper chai but it won’t taste as good as this one
