- Hi Folks. It's been a ridiculously long time, hasn't it? I'll address my absence via a check-in video soon. I had meant to already, but my PC has basically melted and needs a wipe-N-rebuild (which is SO fun after recently losing my job).
In scrubbing around backing things up I found this lil tidbit & thought I'd share.

Okay so, longer version. I sort of vanished from YT after SoW ended. This is for a variety of reasons but chiefly:
1) My IRL "keep the bills paid" job was straining me to near breakdown either mentally or physically at any given time. 2) Adobe Premiere for some reason just stopped running properly and would hang every. time. I. pressed. anything. Which as you can expect makes higher edit many-clicks-per-second-process videos a soulcrushing pain to even contemplate. Which is why most of my downtime / would-be content time went into building a semi-regular streaming presence over on twitch.tv/editedward.
During 2023, IRL job kept worsening more and pushed me so far that I finally reached the end of my very longwearing patience and resigned for my own health as of around Sept. There is only so many other-people's-jobs one man can be expected to do at once for a dot above minimum wage (and still not enough to live alone in the current climate).
This meaning that I'm now currently between jobs, and scooting by on the dosh from content creation. Which, touchwood, is JUST about paying its way for the present as long as I'm ludicrously frugal and stay very very good at maths.
Until either I find something new, or content manages to stablise into a liveable income (Approx. £600 p/m, thanks to sharing & *ferociously* brutal moneymath on my part), I have more time on my hands and would like to get back into creating again. Then when I was trying to make a go of it the PC goes and melts, so here we are. And I STILL can't get Adobe Prem to open even the options menu without crashing! XD
This upload'll basically be the last thing this PC does before I tear it apart and rebuild it when the parts arrive tomorrow. Sorry to have dropped off the grid. Hopefully I can claw back, time and technovoodoo willing.

I am sorry that has happened to you, work burnout is a pain in the backside and the fact you were taking on other people’s responsibilities is not fair. Trying to make ends meet. Glad you are back even though your laptop is on its last wire… metaphorically. Make sure you take care because you are worthy.
