Update: Still trying to do Malenia Hitless for 3 days still could not do it... Update 2: finally day 4 I have done it. Hitless Melenia after thousands of tries. My hands are still shaking. (Still can't doge waterfoul dance at close range though). Fyi, I forgot how to deal with normal enemies now. 😂

right at the end there the amount of patience needed to dodge for like a minute straight without any interaction, like parrying or attacking, is crazy. i was watching it feeling tilted at how insanely unfair it must feel to be stuck waiting for your turn. but of course ongbal prevailed and finished the job. amazing video i can imagine normal malenia must be a cakewalk for you now
I don't think it feels unfair sometimes, I think it's a test of patience in ER with long attack chains. Even base game bosses have these and yeah they test ur patience, but that's kinda the point. If you don't wait it out, you're gonna eat shit.
@@scorpiowarrior7841 im a big sekiro enjoyer so in my eyes combat that is 'fair' is something more like back and forth hitting and attacking between you and the enemy, and less like waiting for the specific attacks which can be punished. but thats just how i personally feel what 'fair' combat should be, it is purely subjective so i do understand that patience is something that can and probably should be part of a battle, i just dont like it as much cause im impatient lol
I think I understand why Miyazaki didn't make this the original fight, not because of the difficulty, because it's more like a Choreography than a fight, where if you miss one step you die, you have to memorize when it's the time to hit her, that's why it's so long, because you don't have that many chances to make damage either, and don't think that's the gameplay Mayazaki wanted

Since Malenia is the character I respect the most, I would have loved for this to have been the final result: A fight where in the end she doesn't die, but lives and respects us by defeating her.

Huge GGs on the hitless. This bossfight is pretty insane even after mastering the vanilla fight. Anyway, v1.04 of Unalloyed Malenia came out not too long ago and I can say that v1.04 is even more challenging. I wonder if you have plans in fighting her again with the new version
This mod is so awesome, it really sells the idea that malenia ascends to true godhood when she becomes the goddess of rot. Not only does she have her sword abilities, but now has mastery over rot based spells on the level of the elden beast with its holy spells. This is a fight worthy of Hewg's god-slaying armament, a clash that could only be sold this well by a gamer with true mastery of the fight.
Ive been trying this mod and now, I can truely appreciate just what a masterpiece of work this video is. I still can't survive through 2nd phase aeonias(they eat up so much space).
Now that's an undefeated goddess. Insanaly powerful. Most of the players wouldn't be able to beat her. I hope they can bring this malenia somehow with the DLC, would be an amazing fight.
