I feel really sad when someone says china instead of Tibet, it's kinda heartbreaking when people straightforwardly say home of Tibetan people now belongs to china(ofc it's occupied by china) but people of Tibet are still fighting foe their homes their rights and still want to go back their homes. Who doesn't want to go back to their homes. So many Tibetan refugees live in India for their safety, they have found a second home in India, but they are still carrying this pain in their hearts, while rest of the world has forgotten their story and calls their home china while they're fighting and refuse to give up.
All the countries in the world need to unite and pressurize and urge the china to #FreeTibet

My friend , I know what you mean but I didn't forget . When I heard him mention Tibet I made sure I thanked him for that in my comment ... and I made sure that I said it was a shame that so many people think Tibet is a part of China , but it's not ... I made sure to mention that it's an occupied country ... and also said Free Tibet .
More people need to be aware of this , I agree .
I remember hearing the stories from some of the Tibetan Buddhist Lamas about escaping Tibet and making it down to Dharamsala .
I hear that no one escapes now because of the technology including the infrared tracking where they can see people's footprints ... actually I heard that maybe 8 years ago . Ashame .
I really believe that someday Chima of will apologize and build a giant golden stupa for the people of Tibet .

@@musqitonebeats2129 No, it'll be cloudy during monsoon. Best views for any part of Himalayas is from September to February. During Winter, you'll have absolutely clear skies. That's also the safest time to travel. Government should provide better transportation facilities and better behaviour towards tourists if they want to promote tourism. Even recently, Modi asked tourists to come to India during his European visit. But those areas are a little risky and government should ensure safety etc before increasing tourism. As an Indian, i faced many problems similar to what Gabriel faced in Uttarakhand and Himachal. Hope the government looks into it

The Pandavas were actually led to heaven through the Himalayas, after the Mahabharata war, by a black dog. They followed the black dog who always moved ahead of them. Eventually everyone in the family died, except for Yudhishtira(eldest brother, who always abided by "dharma") who ultimately reached heaven.
So your feeding a black dog, with the snowy untouchable Himalayan peaks in background is very symbolical❤❤

Apparently legend says that , when pandavas were on their way for moksha in Himalayas a black dog accompanied them throughout the journey, all of Yudhishthir kin fell down and died in the process (due to their karma, although they were highly virtuous but not free from their sins) , except Yudhishthir and that black dog which was Yama himself (god of death). and yudhishthir insisted Indra (god equivalent to Zeus and Thor) to let him keep the dog with him.
which was ofcourse some kind of test for him to enter the realm.

    • @truthteller2991

Yes. Even though Pandavas won they had sinned and it was act of doing penance for their sins for so many killings. So they did not enjoy kingdom but went to penance journey.
Even Lord Krishna had to suffer shrap[curse] of Kauravas mother and he died by arrow . Later his kingdom was also destroyed as all his sons fought themselves [Thats was also part of shrap].
Mahabharata is a real epic which applies today also. It has so many characters depicting so many personality traits that every human behavior can fit into it. Imagine being composed so many thousands of years ago!

Hi! Gabriel..... it's nice to see u again in India..... UR 3rd visit isn't it.... 2010, 2015, 2022, & so on..... depressing to see haze, smoke hiding the majestic views of the mighty Himalayas.... call it the evil effects of the green house effect, global warming, human encroachment, fast approaching doomsday etc etc. Today's vlog is the best. U made an error yesterday, instead of coming down to rudraprayag u should have gone to Chamoli frm where there is a bypass route to chopta, tungnath, ukhimath etc joining kund guptkashi connected to the road towards rudraprayag. Lot's of planning required as one miss & the detour is of hundreds of km on treacherous mountain roads.... 15:08 to 15:20, towards the rt. the peaks were Chaukhamba (Chau means four & khamba means pillars, one can see only the three pillars as the fourth one is towards tibet) 6975 to 7138 mtrs... Sumeru 6331 mtrs... Bhrigupanth 6772 mtrs.. Bunder punch 6315 mtrs.... Gangotri group 6611, 6595, 6537 mtrs... Jaunli 6632 mtrs, Swarg Rohini 6196 mtrs. & towards kumaon & hidden.... Neelkanth 6596 mtrs, Hathi Parbat 6628 mtrs, Trishul 7015 mtrs then Nanda Devi etc etc.. the list goes on & on on both sides.... We r lucky to have the mighty majestic Himalayas in UttaraKhand, Himanchal, Kashmir & Nepal, Bhutan.. My best wishes for ur onward journey... The westerly disturbance will certainly douse the forest fires & we all will b entertained by grt vlogs frm our lovely frnd Gabriel... Thanks a lot....

Visiting the holy shrine of lord Shiva, at the highest point, partly surrounded by the high peaks of the Himalayas, is absolutely an incredible experience. Even I had been there almost two years before in the month of early March, recollecting the memories of footsteps from the same trail which you had been through, was fully covered with snow and after reaching the Chandrashilla top, the view was utterly clear and mesmerizing.

Hi Gabriel, That was unbelievable what a hike well worth it just breathtaking similar to the dolomites hike which was spectacular in every way. it also looks a bit like the Canadian Rockies' majestic mountains. That temple a thousand years ago must have been a very solemn place with people moving into the mountains has changed the dynamics of the area even though these places are still very sacred and protected.
