It was all nice and cool until I realised he actually plays the same riff with both hands! And yes, this makes the most sense as this is how you actually get the original sound and vibe of the tune. Great tutorial, thank you. :)

Piano with Nate is where I found a lot of easier tutorials. He’s awesome too
I recommend watching the piano chords lessons first before you start playing songs. It makes it a lot easier

Is this the actual album version? I’ve seen several different versions of this in different videos, and while I think this lesson is the best and clearest, is it authentic?

@@harleybk3 I’m learning this song now myself and of all the sheet music and lessons out there this one is the only one I’ve seen that matches what Chris Martin plays when watching him live. Most of the others take the simple approach with the left hand and just play chords. But if you watch him play the song his left hand is much more active.

This is a free tutorial. All you need to do is listen to the song and play the parts in order. There has been literally hundreds of ‘next time’ tutorials after this one 😂

Really like your tutorials. I am new to the piano/keyboard so please forgive my ignorance. Am I reading the outro correctly? it seems to me it’s the same as the intro and chorus. Where does the AbGEb fit in?
