This is slowly becoming my favourite show. Banger after banger
Thank you, Mike! Please spread the word. - Ken
Really appreciate it man!!
An absolute homerun of an episode... what a pleasure to hear from the crew about the science and practical use of scents... gives us all something to think about and plan with.... Thanks for the hard work putting this together...
Thank you, Bryan! Please help us spread the word about the show. - Ken
this is great! I don't know how you can take a topic that isn't very relevant to me and still keep me glued but you manage to make it happen...GREAT guests and dialogue! One change I would make: for dark thoughts, you should use the old Dark Shadows show theme from the 70's, creepy!
Thank you for the kind words and support, Kevin. As for creepy, what's creepier than a naked guy in BTC's front yard and that soul patch on BTC's chin??? -- Ken
Thanks Kevin!!
Damn ouch Ken!
Great show! Wish I could ask Byron about a rod he made with Duckett called the launcher.
Greetings from the BIG SKY. I studied trout for many decades, long before I knew of the bass, scent is a debatable issue with trout. I kept contact with anything 'human' at a reasonable distance whenever I knew I'd have a chance at trout however.
Another GREAT LIVE podcast... 🍺🎣
Glad you enjoyed it, Shane! Please help us spread the word. - Ken
Great show! Learned a ton! Back in the early 80s we used WD 40 on Erie Dearies for Lake Erie walleye.
Please don't intentionally pollute the water by spraying wd-40 all over the place and on your lures.
Another awesome show and again this Colorado boy has soaked up some great information!
Thanks for the support, Kory! Please help us spread the word. - Ken

I'm 76 and you are never to old to learn!
Big scent fan. It works. Hundreds of bass on first or second cast after applying. 50+years proof
I agree! 👍🏾
Ive had success with bang garlic. Spraying it on my magdrafts and other soft swimbaits. 🤷♂️
The Butch Brown special
Happy birthday BTC. And great job everyone, yet another fantastic show

Thank you, Ken! And yes, BTC's b'day is Feb. 19. -- Ken
Happy Belated Birthday bro
I find myself once again wanting to ask your guest a question maybe i should watch live so maybe i can. When they were talking about testing scent with cotton i wonder if you are better off putting scent on some sort of cloth and treading it on like a jig soaked in scent? Would it be better than just on the jig itself.
Shawn, if you can watch live and post your question, we'll try to get to it. I'm not clear on what you're asking here, but I can tell you that the cotton balls are about the size of a pencil eraser -- maybe smaller. And there's nothing to thread a piece of cloth onto. There's no hook -- just a bare cotton ball slowly sinking in the tank. -- Ken
@KenDukeBass yea I know I am saying soak the cloth in scent the. Tread that onto your hook. (cotton cut from a cotton tee-shirt). Would that be better than just putting scent on the bait? I think the cotton cloth would hold the scent better than say a zoom chunk.
A heads up for all the bass anglers going to the ban Live scope rally in Joplin Missouri this summer... All those attending will be required to take the 2 hour beginners back reeling clinic in the morning, and the 6 hour advanced back reeling seminar in the afternoon... Revealing the mysteries of bass behavior and location must be stopped now ! Sign the petition to ban FFS and any further research into the use of hypnotic imagery on finesse top waters and jerk baits... Exploiting the small, primitive brain of bass aint right or cool !
The musical headliner at the Joplin rally will be Eisenfunk Let us play Pong
Jacob Foutz will be there performing a mad cap comedy routine, for donations. When the hat comes round dig deep and be generous !
