    I have submitted the application for the same program from India in around November last year but there was an application fees they charged but you mentioned it's free and they haven't updated about my application status yet

      Hey Aman! Thanks for correcting us out! We suppose we lacked a proper background check on this! It turns out it indeed has an application fee. On checking the website it says CAD 110. We have pinned your comment, could you please confirm if that's the amount you paid?
      Also, to your question on decision, they are expected to start releasing from March and will go on till April. So, don't worry, you'll at least get a mail anyway!
      Thanks once again for rectifying our mistake! :)

      And Can you help with this
      I have an acceptance letter from stevens institute of technology for MS in BIA and the final dat to accept it's offer is 18 feb , but I am still confused between USA and Canada especially Ryerson as the tuition fees is quite low and the other benefits like canada provides
      Any insights will be helpful badly needed them.🙏

      Thanks for confirming!
      To your question: you need to clear your preferences as to what you want to do once you graduate. It's a big investment to study abroad and it should be made only after mapping your journey after you complete your studies. As far as these universities are concerned both are more or less same in terms of reputation but differ way too much in costs mostly due to SIT being private. For Ryerson, you'll be based in Toronto, Canada's main tech market is this only whereas in SIT you'll be in Jersey which has a lot of opportunities but again not as much as Toronto. Since you have a little time left to accept the offer, one workaround would be to study in the US, work there for a while like a year or so and then move to Canada taking up a job as your American degree and work ex would be really admired in Canadian market. Also, if you do receive an offer letter from Ryerson, you can drop a sincere mail to SIT that you want your offer to be cancelled (however you won't get any refund on any fees if you have paid, so if you could drag the fee deposit date to March end somehow, that'll be a win-win for you!)
      It is just a personal advice, think wisely and make your decision! All the best and do let us know which offer you went with, will be happy to know! 🙂

      Hi! Well, if there's a lack of 1 or 2 courses then certainly you can apply because in these kind of cases you're generally either enrolled before the start of your program or are asked to complete credits of those courses before the start of the original program. Thus, you're offered a conditional offer from that university. But if you are lacking like more than 4 courses than it would certainly be very difficult and useless for you to spend money on the application. So, to get an unconditional offer it is required that you complete the prerequisite courses else you are offered a conditional offer which converts to complete offer only when you submit the proof of completion of prerequisite courses. Hope this helps...

      Sure, why not. But your SoP should clearly explain why you would like to shift your domain and how will it map to your future goals. Just make sure that you write a strong and compelling SoP. That's the only thing that makes the majority of impact especially in cases like these. Good luck.👍

    Hey there ! First of all I would like to appreciate your work. Also, if I apply for thesis option in Ryerson University, then it will be like 2 years of study and 3 years of work permit right ? Do Ryerson University have winter intake? Can I apply for MS in Data Science and Analytics thesis option this month end? Can you rate the possibility of me getting into the university? IELTS-6.5,CGPA-7.4/10, had done B.tech in CSE for 4 years

    • @knowledgeoverflow6012
      @knowledgeoverflow6012  2 роки тому

      Thanks a lot for your appreciation!🙂 Well, I think the PSWV policy for Canada has changed now. The length would be equal to the length of the program. Ryerson has winter intake but not for Computer Science and Data Science but there is an option for MSc. in Electrical and Computer Science applications to which have already been closed.
      As far as possiblility is concerned, you might need to check the IELTS requirements as the score seems a bit low. Also, some universities have a 75% minimum criteria, have a watch on that too please. But apart from that if you have some nice projects and/or publications, that would be a great plus to your application and can boost the loopholes. Canada, undoubtedly, is becoming more competitive everyday so you need to set yourself apart from the crowd that's applying in order to get into a Canadian university. Hope this will help you get some insights and shape your profile effectively. Good luck.👍

      To answer your query, I understand you're not from India but since as per Indian degree requirements they require a 4-year degree, so same would suffice for any other country perhaps. So you will certainly qualify for this program. Since there's no prerequisite pertaining to specific undergraduate courses, it won't be an issue and infact you can showcase them as highlights in your application. You can very well go today and apply for this program! Good luck!🤜🤛

I know foreign studies is a big investment and it's natural to think of 4-5 years down the line. But eventually your work permit is sponsored by your employer once you start working for them, so if you stick to the company and could prove your mettle, certainly you'll end up having more years than just PGWP! I know it'll be compromise with the time to stay In Canada but yet again this course is one of the topmost in Canada and the graduates are most sought after in Canadian corporate, so you'll have plethora of opportunities. Once you spend 5 years in total, you can apply for a PR. Hope this helps...🙂
