Just finished installing mine. The evaporator was full of dust and hair and some leaves. Ended up using some plastic hose taped to my vacuum to get right in there and clean it. Works very well, thankyou guys!
Hey can anyone tell me if this works for the Chevy colorado or GMC Canyon that is made in the USA? I would assume it would but in not sure since the dash is flipped
Man i hope this works, have a 2008 chevy colorado, and every where i looked it said there was no ac cabin filter, my vent blows dust and i feel it, i'm about to sell the truck just for because that, 90f degrees i can't use my ac or defroster...
Hi Just check to make sure that you have the pre marked plastic ready to cut out on your model , we have seen it on as early as 2007 models. They didn't come with a filter standard(some thai build ones did so we have heard)but if you have what is shown on the video should not have any problems if you want to check the piece of plastic you are going to cut out should measure 215mm x 30mm approximately and filter depth is about 220mm from front face
I haven't opened mine glove box yet, but from other videos i can see it doesn't look the same as yours... i was really hoping for this to work, as i believe what ever my ac is blowing is bad stuff. it affects my allergy and i can feel it in my throat and lungs... that's why i don't even turn it on...
Hi Just check to see if you have the same setup behind glovebox (on the opposite side for America) if its the same style and you need to cut same plastic away this filter will fit the chevy ,we think the filter box is the same just reversed for LHD the filter is available at this address cabinairfilters.com.au/?p=18051 cost is AUD$48 and AUD$29 for postage approximately $55
Is someone joking or that’s only f_cking way to change cab air filter, why the f_ck design it so stupidly????? Unbelievable, those engineers snd quality control should go to jail.
Well guy what they did was they made a solve for a problem that existed. There wasn't a cabin air filter in there, so they added one to help protect the equipment
Looks brilliant! Just ordered one and am looking forward to installing it into my 2011 Dmax!
Great work guys!
