Important notice, 2004-2012 Chevy Colorado's don't have cabin filters, they only have mesh, that mesh does not need to be changed..
This is a 2017
Thanks for that info..Still driving my 5cyl 04 4x4 200k love the truck. Standard transmission. 5sp
Classic. Nice!
So how do you clean it?
Thank you so much!! I was looking everywhere!
Great video! Short and to the point! Thank you!
Right on man
You forgot to install your filter cover before putting it all back together bro 😂lol
I put it on lol.
Thanks for the video - Removed only the string and right side pin (with a little WD40) to gain complete access. The pins can be a bit of a pain to remove.
Glad it helped
Literally could not have been better
Thank you
So does the mesh on the 04 to 2012 need cleaned from build up if so how do you do it
Hopefully someone can answer that.
You forgot all us folks taking the time to watch this were looking for all the info you blew over , like gaining access and then putting it back…. We all know how to do the only part that was easy to film ( sliding the filter in and out… damn dude get your friend to hold the camera. Waisted my time, now youre ‘ good to go’
Sounds like a good reason for me to make another vid. Stay tuned
@@MrBaldChronicles. Nice comeback I was expecting an argument. lol Jackedup Minute good feedback but come on man simmer down.
Haha right on
I know that is not the case, my pick up only works in 4 the air conditioning, does anyone know what it can be?
FYI, you don’t need to take the pins out
You do. Show me a way to do it without. Drop a link to the other way. That’s the only way I know

@@MrBaldChronicles. basically you still have to remove the cable but then you just pull the left side in.
Hmm. I will try it next time.
@@MrBaldChronicles. I went to get an oil change yesterday and stopped by autozone next door to get a filter. I went back to the shop and the guy doing the oil change was like, here give me that I’ll put it in. Ended up being a free install with my oil change so that was pretty cool.
You should change your title, it's confusing 1st Gen. Colorado owners
Lol is it. Where is it on the first gens
You never put the cover back on your air filter box 🤷♂️🤦♂️😔
I did. Maybe it’s not on video.
Is this for a 2012?
No but really the same method
You need to make it clearer about the steps.
Too bad it's made in China...
Otherwise all is good. Thumbs up.
Everything is made in China to some extent lol
