I’ve had Holdens my whole driving life and generally do the servicing myself. Never bothered replacing the pollen filters 🫢 Got a mint 2010 GTS these days and I’m servicing it atm so might finally have a go haha.
This was a really good video as it added tips to removing the trim around it and the old mesh screen. Without this I probably would have damaged the car a little by yanking on things.
I've been using your filters for years now and love them but i find when theres alot of debris and you take it out, you can't stop it falling into the fan. The debris doesnt cling to the filter.
Hi if your model is the VZ series lumina this filter will not fit , you will need our CAFA1416 which fits all VT-VZ commodore its available at this link on our website cabinairfilters.com.au/?p=21394
Hi We make a cabin air filter for the VT to VZ series 1997 to 2006 , they originally on had a mesh screen in front of windscreen , we have designed a filter to replace it, there available at this link on our website with some install pictures cabinairfilters.com.au/?p=21394
@@rocketmagnet427 It does take a little bit of time, so it is well worth the effort to DIY, a Service Centre would probably charge an hour in labour just to do this job.
What a shit design this is. Most other cars you just drop the glove box and slide out the filter. Thanks for the detailed video. I would never have found the filter.

Use a vacuum cleaner to suck any debris from the front of the filter before removing it.
Is it true for holden commodore 2006 ltz (lumima 2006)?
