- In this video we'll explore the second chapter of Saw the Video Game. Here we're stuck in the basement of the Whitehurst Asylum and need to rescue Jennnings Foster a former colleague of Tapp. While this happening, Tapp gets the shotgun collar put around his neck.

The mannequin arms are probably in reference to the first Saw film where jigsaws lair is in a abandoned mannequin factory and also that he does alot of his testing on mannequins
They could also be from practice dummies that nurses and doctors used for training. This game takes place in an abandoned asylum and asylums had to have medical workers in case patients and staff were injured or sick.
One of the details this game has that I love is how the place is littered with corpses of other people who’ve failed their tests. It serves as a gruesome reminder that you’re not the only fly trapped in Jigsaw’s vast web.
I like the crafting system and the ability to arm traps. It gives you other ways to take out enemies, which is a godsend because the melee combat is abysmal.
I remember a scene in the first Saw movie where Adam was knocked out in his apartment and when he woke up, the lights weren’t working anymore and he had to use the flash from his camera to get around. It was a really good scene and I think that might be part of the reason the game had a camera you could use. The problem is that the devs forgot that the original scene worked because it was a movie that doesn’t involve viewer input and that Adam only used the camera because he didn’t have anything else to light up the area and he wouldn’t have used it if a better light source was available.
The mannequin arms aren’t that out of the ordinary. Jigsaw often uses mannequins to test his traps, so the mannequin arms lying around are probably from those.
The reason Tapp doesn’t try to escape through the hole is because of his obsession with catching Jigsaw. After Sing’s death, Tapp went completely off the deep end and was consumed by his obsession. A gunshot wound to the chest isn’t going to change his mental state. Tapp is still just as screwed up now as he was in the later half of the first movie.

Not sure I left a comment on the previous video, but I LOVE the background you have with all the movie posters/images behind you. Keep the vids coming, can't get enough!
i hate it when a video this good comes out and then we never see another sequel of it

One dropped two weeks ago
@itzflurry3512 reminder for you as well that a new one dropped
Kill count: No One Cares
"Yes, it's that many!"
Had me rolling dude
Did you try lighting the molotovs with your lighter? That might have been the intended use for them.
Came here to say the same thing!
The bottle is a Molotov... It's just that before you use it, you need to light the piece of cloth coming out of the bottle, since if it was already lighted, it would have already exploded
I always wanted to watch people play this. I never actually wanted to play it myself and I think that sums up the game perfectly.
Yes, please continue playing the game, i really like it
All the respect in the world for admitting to looking up the answers to puzzles. I feel like way more people look up puzzles and pretend to solve them than we think.
did anyone else notice at 13:21 that he wrote mitsake instead of mistake
The irony 🤦♂️
It was a very minor mitsake.
"And what happens in this room.... We will see in the next video" YOU SON OF A
I really enjoyed this video! I can't wait for the next one!
Just a tip: turn on the in-game subtitles when you cover those in video. It helps non-English speakers or people who doesn't use high volumes.
Great vid btw
Learn English then.
2:49 I think that if you tried to dump the barrel into the drain then you would risk losing the key since it could easily get poured out and fall down the drain where it would be unreachable. Although that strategy might work, I think that it would be too risky since you would risk losing the key completely and being trapped forever. Still, if Tapp wanted to he could probably wrap his arm with something to give himself a little bit of protection, but IDK
I don't think I have seen much comments about it but at 4:15 the shotgun collars aren't meant to activate by having both of you as close as possible. Jigsaw apparently had them rigged in a way that if Detective Tapp stays further away from another person with a shotgun collar, theirs will activate and it will kill them, but if the enemy runs and gets closer to Tapp, then his collar will activate, meaning you would have to play hide and seek, hiding away from the enemy with shotgun collar to not die.
The manaquin torso in dead rising was one of the best weapons

i'd love to see a longer video in the future
Great video as usual! Wanna avoid spoilers so here are some fun facts: a) These days I play everything on PC but I played this one on Xbox 360 and I recall correctly the controls were much smoother - except for the combat. b) The game files contain an unused character model and unfinished animations for Dr Gordon, who was supposed to be the final boss or at least one of the major bosses. I think the studio insisted on not including him in the game. There should be a video on UA-cam where some modder restored the model but the animations were completely bugged so there isn't much to look at
Omg can't wait for the next part!
Loved the video! Cant wait for the next one! I may have to try and find this game again!
To go along with the whole doors shut automatically , is in saw 2 , Amada says, "if its stuck ,its a trap
Thanks for continuing the videos.
Finish part 3 please
Loving these vids. Keep up the phnominal work
Looking forward to seeing your reaction to the ending!
Keep up man you are on fire
The guy who is completely blind, i think its inspired by the mausoleum trap in the opening of saw 4, were one man had his eyes sewn shut and one man had his mouth sewn shut. The guy with his eyes sewn shut, panics and starts to attack the mouth sewn shut guy, and the mouth guy kills him . Oh i forgot to mention, the guys have a key on the back of their necks, to unlock the chains around their necks that are slowly being pulled towards a motor at the center of the room they are in.
damn, your skin cleared up so much man. W
Looking forward to the next one. Hope you play the sequel too!
When I saw you pick up the camera I instantly went "Wonder how long he will use it for"
Instantly switches back
The camera is actually good for using it on enemies it stuns then for a few seconds and you can go ham on them.
This video showed up just in time since I stayed until 3am watching the first three films on FX. I would've loved the experience the games but unfortunately my PlayStation no longer works.
Love this series
Oh you def gotta okay flesh and blood
recently just bought it for my old xbxo after years of wanting to relive my memories
Amazing video.
More content like this please!
love your video's bro
As far as the puzzles are concerned at least, I'm actually familiar with two of the layouts. The fuse box puzzle is the same kind of "make all of the wires interconnect" puzzle as the Corpus hacks in Warframe, and the cog puzzle from the boiler room is the same interlocking circles puzzle that I remember from a Fantastic 4 game I played on the OG Xbox as a kid that was similarly used for hacking open doors and similar things. The last one in the pendulum room with the four gear puzzles is actually fairly original, though I myself have played a couple of apps back in high school when I was bored out of my mind that were similar mechanical gear-based puzzle games, just not with the sort of pegboard-style placement like in this game. All of the puzzles are pretty okay in my opinion, nothing too hard but can still take a second of thinking as you work out the answer. Seems to me like they'd be pretty fun.
Also, I'm intrigued by this new original trap design. It looks like a cross between the Venus fly trap and the screw things that were on the people's heads at the beginning of Saw 6 I believe, with the Pound of Flesh trap where the girl cut off her arm. Rather than just being a simple sort of headband with bolts screwing into your temples, this one looks like a bunch of screws or maybe spikes all around your head that'll simultaneously impale your cranium with a bunch of pokey metal bits. Y'know, for fun. Wondering if we'll get a better look at it in the next episode, or if we'll see any more original trap designs. Overall I'm enjoying this series, it's kind of like a "how to beat" video mixed with a combination walkthrough and let's play.
Wow, I didn't know there was a saw game
Waiting for the next vid.
Bro where is chapter 3? Its been 4 weeks
*2 months
We need a full gameplay
Apparently you need to light the molotovs before throwing them, which is odd because the game expects you to give up the lighter
15:08 Because you didn't light it with your lighter lol
I wanna play this so bad :(
16:50 a bug
Maybe you need to keep the lighter out as you prepare the Molotov to turn it on? IDK, I only saw one gameplay of this game when it came out and the letsplayer just keep losing at the gun puzzle on chapter 1.
Well now saw X is coming
If they remake or make a new saw game with new visuals and graphics of today's standard like dead space remake it would be amazing
Hey i want to start by saying I love all your videos! Ive probably watched all your horror videos and i wanted to ask if saw is a movie i should spend time watching. I have no problem with gore at all but if its JUST gore and the story is lacking then i probably wont watch
The saw movies always have a lot of the police procedural/ investigative stuff and flashbacks revealing backstory, so it's not just traps. While the story is not a 10/10 it's definitely fast paced and entertaining which can be really fun (but it's not that deep).
I would recommend you watch the first one and see what you think! It has the most story and the least gore so it's a good way to work out if the series will be interesting to you. Particularly note Jigsaw's motive and methods - if you don't like that in the first one, you'll hate the rest!
The rest of the series has less of a complex plot in each individual movie, but putting it together is a lot of brain work!
When’s the next episode of this coming out?
@3:20, janitor? Steam? "Saw VI" reference?
Part 3 when?
There’s also a sequel the this game which some would say is worse but I would love to see a play thought of it
i nned the third video my man
Interested in seeing your take on Alien: Isolation
13:29 no way bro pointed out a mistake just to make a spelling mistake in the word "mistake"
christ you really like the word mistake huh
Off-topic but I have the same mic!
Post the third part bro
I am not sure if the game is canon because for it to happen Detective Tapp didn't die in Saw 1.
It's not canon
I binge your channel out of morbid curiosity and ideas for my writing, and yet my parents think the worst thing wrong with me is that I'm bi...
Maybe a spoiler warning:

I've played this game several times, but never actually noticed the foreshadowing before the first acid barrel search!
Pls do another one
Make video how to beat Hostel

where is part 3?
Maybe try using your lighter on the molotov? Basic intuitive logical deduction?
So underrated

Let’s play a game first like first comment
*This game suffers from a lot of backtracking..*
