One of the things I really like about this game is how they're able to create really appealing visuals using pretty simple graphics and art style. The whole game really stands out despite being fairly low-res and unspectacular. A good example would be the area at 19:01 - there's nothing particularly special about the tricks used here, they just use the simple baked-in lighting effects to create some spectacular projections on the wall/pipes with red light from a source under the grating. Same deal with the pipe - it's just a scrolling fire texture behind a see-through grate texture, but it creates a pattern that's vibrant and interesting.

Somewhat related: I've recently killed Mama by doing absolutely nothing. I didn't even release her from a tank. So I threw a barrel at the door, kinda trying to recreate what Civvie did in the video, but instead the barrel blew up and set Mama on fire. Due to how fire works in the game, as in it never goes out, Mama got burned. Literally.
