I have lived in SB for 23 years and will never probably use the new Beach Club. However, I am in 100% support as this truly differentiates our neighborhood and increases the likelihood new families move here--which increases property values. If I had a young family, I would choose SB over others with this new Beach Club. It will be amazing. $12 Million sounds like a lot, but with 22K homes, it is only $540 total per family spent over years on this investment. I have to think, the average home will be more attractive to buyers, and values increase by far more. Need to look at the big picture. This will make SB much more sought after! View the HOA as a business that makes your neihborhood more attractive and increases values. Or live in a neighborhood without these things and your home will be less marketable in the future. See the big picture....

I get upgrading that 5 foot sand pond but those renderings are absurd. 😂

I'm one of those homeowners and the HOA should have planned better to ensure there is a budget for this. No hotel going through a renovation hikes up prices to pay for it. If it isn't in the budget, you do without. Many homeowners cant afford this in the current economy.

good luck with that considering 80% of new homes are part of an HOA

HOAs have far too many rights. I live in one and hate it, but I know what they're capable of so I bend the proverbial knee. I hope to someday live on land that is 100% MY land and I can do whatever I want!
