Becky's Story

At Step One Charity we are committed to providing confidential and compassionate support across our services. Recently, we’ve had the privilege of supporting Becky through BeWell@StepOne. Becky has struggled with anxiety and depression for many years and her mental health reached an all-time low after the hit of the pandemic. Becky reached out to Step One Charity for some support through our BeWell@StepOne service which resulted in her participating in our free self-help courses and a peer support group. This support made a huge difference to her mental health, and the peer support group has now become part of her life.
