Hey UD, Great video brother! I was wondering if some of those areas kinda looks like a turf disease may have caused the damage. I agree with the height of the grass (especially if the turf is not watered properly! God bless you and your family my brother, Kevin Barron
I believe he was seeing the beginning of an army worm infestation. The geese were eating something in his lawn and not his neighbors. It was definitely something going on though. Thank you and same to you bro!!!
@@DallasLawnGuy it depends on your mowing frequency. If you’re mowing every 3 to 7 days then .5 inch works well. Most residential homeowners have a lawn guy mowing every 10 to 14 days, Obviously Bermuda will be way higher than .5 inch by that time. So to not brown the lawn, those decks need to be raised. I mowed for 14yrs. The ,5 inch doesn’t work on a bi-wkly mowed lawn. Thank you!! However I’ll be doing the .5 inch on my lawn. I’ll definitely take tips from your videos. Your lawn looks great
Typically Bermuda can be as low as 1.5 to 2” considering you cut it at least once a week. If every 2 weeks I would cut it at 3.5 to 4”. Remember not to cut off more than 1/3 of an inch so you don’t get down to the brown part of the lawn.
