Do you get any burn from 46-0-0? How soon do you have to water after the app? Great videos!
@@steved.5628 The window to apply quick release fertilizer is from April to late May. That’s when the lawn is actively growing and the temperatures aren’t too hot. In June we shift to slow release so we don’t burn the lawn. The 46-0-0 we apply is a water soluble granular that we mix in our tank. It’s for the most part already dissolved when applied. You don’t have to water in. Watering doesn’t hurt but it doesn’t require watering in since it’s already dissolved. Thank you!! And thanks for watching!!
@@underdogspraying sounds good, looks like y’all are on your way to success! Keep up the great videos 👊🏻
Totally agree! Anyone in the trades needs to stick to what they do and keep comments positive towards other trades!
Which spray nozzles do you use on the Lesco gun between foliar and non foliar apps?
@@sj7601 We’re using a 1.5gpm blue nozzle on my son’s set up. On my gun we’re using a 2.0gpm yellow nozzle. Blue nozzle is mainly for the lawns that are clean and the yellow nozzle is for the lawns that are somewhat new and are just getting started on our program. It may take more to get it under control so the 2gpm nozzle will do the trick better than the 1.5gpm. We run those nozzles period, foliar or non foliar. It depends on the condition which set up will be hitting that lawn though. Great question!!!
@@underdogspraying So the blue nozzle works just fine for foliar apps (like post emergent weed control) if using a surfactant? I'm a diyer and was just curious what the pros use. I recently purchased the Lesco blue nozzle for my flow zone and love it! But I've only used it for non foliar (because I assumed the bigger droplets would cause it to not stick as well to the blades).
Nice video! lots of information. Keep them coming.
@@BrownsQualityLawnCareLLC yes sir!! Hopefully it helps bro!!
What's the mix in the tank if you don't mind me asking
@@kareemgibson6984 1 Oz of Celsius, 3 pints of 3 way, 10lbs of water soluble slow release fertilizer, 4oz Quintessential, 32oz liquid nitro green. All In a 200 gallon tank
Those lawns are looking nice!
good info
Good stuff!! Keep building and take it to the top. Marketing is key.
2:30 I meant Nextdoor
Keep grinding 💪 💯
Yes sir!! Definitely excited to see you get it popping soon bro!!
Whats in the tank if you don't mind me asking
Triclopyr, 3 way herbicide, Celsius, insecticide, Slow release fertilizer, and surfactant. These are In less than the label’s suggestion due to the heat. That way we don’t burn the lawn

what you sprayed the lawn with and is it safe for animals
We sprayed a concoction of Weed control, fertilization, insecticide and fungicide products. Once the lawn dries it’s safe for both humans and animals.
Elevate Boss!
Yes sir, Lord willing!!!
Keep us posted with the challenge!
Yes sir absolutely!! Excited for you guys man!!
Brown patch
Agree, lawn man should bag clippings, but that lawn needs waters and possibly Fungus control. Ijs!!
You're one of those jerks wasting water on grass ?
You’re absolutely right!! I sent a mass text through Yardbook for everyone to start watering the lawns. He’s only been my client for 2 months. We started applying fungicide in April Lord willing I’ll get him right.
nice mix I am getting into weed control here in GA, can we get a calibration video how many gal per 1000 are you spraying?
That’s awesome man!! Yes at some point, the business is exploding. At the moment 1.5 gal per 1,000 sq ft
How you coming along in the weed control?

Like your trailer set up - what is it? How many gallons and acres?
Thanks!! Northstar 200gal. with the trailer kit sold separately. The acreage it covers varies based on calibration. But possibly 4 to 5 acres.
If it was green and had a 5 on it, it was mine LOL.
😂 😂 my conscious wouldn’t let me do it
8:28 kink starting on that hose? Epic to be able to spray with your son! Great times...
Yes it was starting to kink based on how we winded last property. It’s absolutely a blessing. We’ve been working together for almost 16yrs together. Now we’re in business together and this company is being setup for him to inherit!!
@@underdogspraying My son is 12, he got to drive a Z-Max barely seeing over the controls! Not spraying though.. 😂 We do grow food gardens at our place and it's awesome time together! People ask me how I get my son to eat vegetables because their children won't and I always ask if they've grown anything together. Granted he does eat snow peas at 20 to my 1, or eat every single radish, but it's memories and that's really all we have in this world. Epic man! Best of luck this year to you and may the rains be only helpful in your season... GEG
@@GardenerEarthGuy man say that again!!!! The memories is what’s going to carry us!!! Cherish the moment
Great Job
Good info boss. Is that Bermuda grass?
Yes that’s dormant Bermuda.
I have analyzed your UA-cam channel (Pamoja_shop) and found out some problems; do you want to talk about it for a while?
Keep it up bro! I hope to be where you are at soon!
Yes sir!! You’re Literally sitting on a gold mine bro!!
I have watched a ton of Lawn Care Life Vids. Congrats on passing the test!
Yea man Jason Creel is a great guy!!! Thanks for watching and subscribing!!
This would be great for Z-Spray! I grew up this style and there is an art to it- attention focus is a must!
Man!! We’re definitely looking into it!!
@@underdogspraying You go z spray and you'll only use hose for shrub program, pre m in beds... So much easier as you get older- except the knees! I wish they would build suspension on the darn platform you stand on. You spray 25 acres at 5mph and it's not even ground or dry from drought- feeling like an Advil junkie! I'm serious...
I love hearing what brings everyone into the application side. Cool video!
Yes sir!!! Thanks. It was definitely a great move for us.
@@underdogspraying I got my license in 1995 out of Washington State, it changed everything for me. Currently have Florida PCO for L&O but my true love is cool season grass- nothing like those blue checkerboard stripes. Hope you had a great season!
@@GardenerEarthGuy That’s awesome!! Especially all the other additions. I’ll definitely reach out to you if that’s cool to pick your brain!!! The season was amazing and looking forward to the future. My son takes his test Dec 15th so we’re hopeful 🤞
@@underdogspraying everyone I've ever worked with I always encouraged them to pull a license. Florida is very strange as you must work for someone for 3 years to be able to apply to take the test- and they have to sign off on it! I don't like that... Florida tries to stifle new comers from setting up shop and tipping the Apple Cart. Good luck on his test!
Good motivating talk. I'm in TN already researching and ordering study material for my certification in Ornamental Lawn & Turf. I'm a disabled veteran and started cutting grass for myself this past summer and currently do it for property preservation field service companies. They need the same services as a homeowner and I only deal with field coordinators as opposed to the homeowner. However, I figure this certification could lead to other things in the lawn care/property maintenance industry that I recently got involved in as I also provide pressure washing services as well. You are correct as far as AA being in this space as I've seen young AA men working for other companies as applicators. I think that the testing requirements are a mental barrier to entry. I've been taking tests all my life from high school, college, and the military so this would just be another sit-down and focus task to complete. Its good to see someone who looks like me have a channel for this. I see the other guy in Alabama and was considering buying his course but I will do my own research first before pulling the trigger. Much success to you on this new venture.
Thanks for taking the time out to view the channel and If you have any questions regarding ornamental turf let me know I’d be more than happy to help. It’s definitely a game changer. A very well kept secret. I somewhat believe purposefully
😬 "promosm"
Gotta push those roots. Less nitrogen and more phosphorus man.
Soil test first. You’d be surprised how stable most lawns are with phosphorus.
Phenomenal work. My grass looks healthier and the weeds are disappearing
Yes sir!!
Looks very professional.
Keep doing your thing man. I’ve been watching your vids for a while. Looks like you’re growing and getting more clients. I think your channel could take off, especially if you start showing before and after and explaining what you did. Send me a link where I can buy one of those white long sleeve underdog spraying shirts lol.
Hey there, I really appreciate you taking the time to tune in, Thank you! I’ve reached 110 to 115 clients now. Give or take a few. In 4 months business has definitely taken off. I will hopefully start to add more footage and put in those before and after clips. I believe you maybe right. At the moment I have a few before videos just waiting for the after to load them. But yeah you’re absolutely correct. Thanks for the advice!! Oh yeah!! I may consider getting you a shirt for real!! 💯
What was your mix rate per gallon and how often did you spray?
