Five minutes short video with no sponsor message and no break from UA-cam. I didn't think it existed any more. Thanks a lot it gave me the information I needed.
Hi Jason, out of all the how-to videos I have seen, and that is a lot, I must say yours are well crafted and to the point many thanks and well done, subscribed.
Absolutely love your tutorials and video editing skills! Your choice for background music is freaking amazing...thank you for the lesson on motion lapse and the "Essence of love" sound clip🤙
when using time-lapse motionlaspse ect is it recorded in dlog or just normal video as i cant find that anywhere.I have dlog enabled on normal videos ect Thank you jason
I bought this pocket 3 in December and at that time the motion lapse didn't allow me to focus like my osmo pocket 1 did. Does the new firmware allow you to focus motion lapses? Thank you!
For more sense of speed, you will want to add in motion blur. Also worth nothing is that these modes are not 10bit, can't record it in DLOG. Hyperlapses will also look better with less z axis bounce, so ninja walking makes a much smoother looking hyperlapse. Personally I prefer to record 4k24 then speed it up 20 or 30x in post, add in the DJI LUT at 80%, add in motion blur.
Hi Jason, could you share where to find that nice little suction holder please? I checked your video description and couldn't find mention of it. I am looking to buying a similar one
It's a super cheap one I picked up from an electronic store but I would recommend getting a more robust one that's why I didn't link it - You can check this video to see another one I use: ua-cam.com/video/Ml1aJqfODGk/v-deo.html
What if i just want the camera to record from predefined point 1 to point 2 normally in normal speed, while i am in the frame (but do not want to track myself, and do not want to do it manually real time from the app). So just normal automated recording and not a "lapse".
Hi! I heard somewhere (in Philip Bloom video maybe?) the pocket 3 make slowmotions, and anylapses at 23.97 or 29.97 fps in the camera finally. Can you confirm that? Because that is annoying to me in Europe. I saw the text in your video: 25fps on 24 timeline, so I am confused a bit. And pocket 3 manual is also write 25/30fps. Or Dji fixed in update?
I got the Pocket 3 at the beginning of February, and immediately did the firmware update. On mine, I don't find an option for hyperlapse. Just timelapse at 30/2. No other options. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
one nit pick was around 4:30 after the timelapse, the music was still running and I had a hard time hearing, other than that, thanks for showing all 3 modes! Lovely video of Australia and the demostration of the osmo pocket 3!
Hi - thanks for the suggestion! What is it you would like to see? You don't really need to "edit" because the motionlapse and hyper lapse come out of the camera "ready" - although you can color grade the clips if you want to - thanks :) :)
@@JasonRobertsVideo Yes thank you, I first got the message that I needed HEVC Video Extension but then I was able to play it back on Windows 11 Media player. I gues the vanila Windows 10 media player doesn't have the decoder.
Hi thanks for great content about the Pocket 3, it's helped us lots 🎬 What settings would you recommend for time-lapse filming of aurora and meteor showers? We are off dark sky watching ✨️
Hi Sue and Sarah - first I am jealous of your dark sky watching!! I haven't used Pocek 3 for this yet so don't know exactly sorry, but I want to try with normal mode sped up, low light mode sped up, and also the actual timelapse options. Just need to be able to afford a flight to Iceland haha!! :) :)
@JasonRobertsVideo We were in North Wales on Anglesey, it was breathtaking!! ✨️🌟✨️ There will be a video on our channel about our adventure in the next few weeks! However, we didn't seem to get the settings right for the Pocket 3. The Good news is the settings on the Samsung phone worked a treat 😀
Yeah - one of my goals for this year was to get out of the studio more and make more videos outside to keep things fun for me and also interesting for viewers so you can expect to see more vids from "around" Perth - basically anywhere within a 5 hour drive of Perth is doable. I am looking at getting a camper van at somepoint in the next few years to allow me to get away more as well.

@@JasonRobertsVideo Thank you for your reply. I'll dive into it. I appreciate your videos.
You're welcome :) :)

Yeah I want that too like in my big DJI gimbals where you can set movement keyframes - hopefully in a future update! :) :)

No worries! :) :)
Thank you for this Video its very knowledgeable 🔥🔥🔥
My pleasure! Thanks! :) :)
Hi Jason, did a Motionlapse video earlier. The resulting footage looked ok but over sharp in some places. I was shooting 4k 30. Any advice please.
Great video thank you!

Hi Jason can you please make a video to show the process to which you edit Osmo Pocket 3 Timelaps or Motionlaps and produce finish video.

Yes I think Win 10 you need to add the HEVC decoder via the app store or something :)

Nice, I remember camping on Anglesey many many years ago :) :)
I myself love motionlapse it is my go to always, and sometimes time-lapse.. I don't think i have ever used hyperlapse.
Great video but you don’t sound Australian 😅. Did you move from UK or Scotland?
very nice❤❤and need me this product
Thankyou so much :) :) Yeah it's a lot of fun to use!
Wow... seems like you're from Australia
