For those who need the wiring I got you. I used a wire stripper to expose a section of each wire on the taillight harness without cutting the wire completely. After you twist the correct wires onto the harness make sure you solder and wrap with electrical tape to make a strong connection. I did this on a 2017 fusion but the wiring should be similar for other years. Nick, great job posting but you missed a critical part of this. You never stopped to show all the 4 wire connections. Your wires match my 2016 Fusion but I only saw you point to the wires once and you only had two connected. I'm struggling with getting the other two and they don't work properly so I ahve to keep reconnecting 4 wires differently each time. Can you post an answer as to the colors you connected.
Heyward Drummond yes I can I only got two wire connected the other two not connected to anything on the fusion one of the wire runs as the turnsignal and the brakes then the other wire I have as for ground
I got a differente pair of lights because mine does not have the little block yours have so it's just the cables that go directly from the reflectors themselves, so do I need to find that block or can I just connect those cables directly to the tailight ones ?
How did you figure out the wiring, did you test all the wires till it worked then stuck the one that worked to it and so on for all of them? And are the wires coming from the "box" to the taillight harness labeled or do we have to figure that out.
I’ve had these installed for a year or so now, but noticed my rear daytime running lights don’t work anymore. Anyone else have this issue or know how to remedy?
Are these supposed to flash in sequence like the mustang or just flash only red upside down check mark? I have one light that does the mustang and one does opposite..
I have some I want to put on my 2010 rav4, but just to light up with taillights on. Any info would be appreciative. I didnt get any instructions at all with mine. Thank you!
Don't buy these LED lights with the AMOPA brand name. Those LEDs have water condensation inside the light. AMOPA told me that their LEDs need heat ventilation. This implies that these AMOPA lights are NOT waterproof. Their recommendation is to remove the light to "air it out" ... as if removing the rear bumper to do this is a 2-minute ordeal.
@@Nickthecarguy Please share the brand of your LED lights. Unfortunately, mine got a water condensation problem less than a month after install. I got mine from Amazon with the brand name AMOPA.
Nick the car guy could you post the link to the one on ebay? All the ones like yours I have found are for 2016. The ones for 2017 are the individual led lights.
do you have a link to where you purchased those lights? my wife's car is identical as to yours. and i have to replace the reflectors due to a minor rear end collision. along with the trim piece. can you explain more detail about the clips to be able to remove the trim piece. do you have to remove the entire bumber to access them or can you remove the trim piece without having to take the whole bumper cover off?
@@Nickthecarguy I'm trying to replace my reflectors w/ lights so I can use them as rear fog lights out in the UK. I imported my car so I have to have them. Do you have the part number or ebay link? Thanks!

How did you connect the wires? Just by wrapping them to each other?
Great video but the wiring is confusing. Can you tell us which wiring you used? Thanks

Andres Bustamante I'm not for sure I just left mine on there

Andres Bustamante alright it should still work without it
Was it hard to take off the original reflector?
Juan Munoz no it's just a tab you squeeze together then pull it out basically
