    Caution with clip. I have had mine for 4 to 5 years, no issues with clip. But one cannot drop it or place stress on the clip outside of regular usage.

    Have you written to the company to point out these defects and do they have an enhancement?

      That's actually a very good idea. But we honestly have just stayed with our creative fixes. No biggie for us. Now if the slight imperfections were drastic to us I would. Maybe this season I may take you up on this advice. Who knows. Thanks for watching. Much love 💕

    Intrigued! Overall sounds worth it despite flaws. Jealous of your catch! I'd probably have only kept a dozen or so. Gotta save some for next time, lol. I guess though if you live in an area with insane crappie population have at it! We don't have so much here in the Baltimore area because too many greedy dummies keep all, even the small ones. Mmm, mmm, I can almost smell that fry!!!!

    • @mclynnbanks
      @mclynnbanks  Рік тому

      Hey Steve! Yes, it is absolutely worth it! And yes, there is a plenty of Crappie here. Every year my husband and a friend will go out to the lake and dump some Christmas trees so the fish have places to live and breed so there is never really a moment when there aren't enough. I appreciate your watching and chiming in! So much love to you my friend!

      @@mclynnbanksWhere are y’all? I didn’t know people liked crappies like that. Im up in Detroit and I just learned that walled eye are running in the Detroit River. That’s my favorite, but White Bass are a close second. Me and my daddy just cleaned some fish using this special tool he found. That’s how I found this video. I never saw a machine like this. I’m ’bout to sho him. He ain’t gone believe this machine that yall got, or that there’s another person in this world that likes crappies. 😅

      Hi there! We just wash it off...as in...add a little soap ( I add a little bleach to remove the fishy odor...I'm sure that is not recommended by the manufacturer) give it a little run...and that's all. I'm sure you will enjoy yours. Thanks for watching. Much love!

    Have you ever used your device to try to scale Trout? If so how did it turn out?

    • @mclynnbanks
      @mclynnbanks  2 роки тому +1

      Trout...ahh, unfortunately, we have never fished for trout, so I don't know for sure. I would think...yes, I'm assuming... that it will be fine if in the scaler for a shorter period of time since the scales of trout come off much easier if I'm not mistaken. Best wishes to you! Thank for tuning in. Much love!
