If I’m not mistaken the galvanized base is standard for them at the time anyway, it’s been several years since then and it’s still as sturdy as can be. Very pleased with our install. Hey, thanks for watching and chiming in. What's interesting is that I am currently having the same issue. I searched on Amazon and ordered replacements fittings, but have not installed them yet. I hope they fit and that I can get this done this summer. Fortunately it's a very slow leak. So, I'd say try replacing that fitting or reaching out to the manufacturer for some help. Much love 💕
