I came here a few years ago and fell in love. I came back a couple of days ago, and I am completely and utterly enamored. This is amazingly beautiful, Laura. More than amazing. I can hear a bit of Schala's Theme more than halfway into the song, which is the most nostalgic piece for me from the series from my childhood, and truly, it shook my body with goosebumps. I love the fact you are obviously coming from Schala's perspective in the lyrics you wrote. It hurts how good this all is. The kid in me, and the adult I am, both thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Chrono Trigger's soundtrack is timeless. Mitsuda-san is brilliant, as always, since I was a kid in the 90s. With a heavy heart, she passed away. Whenever I get visions of her in her final days in the hospital, I listen to this song to ease the pain, believing she is in paradise.

I played that game when it first came out and then last year I reacquainted myself with it just to find that it was just as amazing as I remembered it. 20 years later and still, nothing compares to the story arc of Janus and Schala. The fact that your lyrics in this song can touch me the same way as the game does is remarkable. I'm in my thirties and very tired of the direction that music has been going for most of my life. You are amazing. This is maybe my 3rd post on UA-cam in the past 8 years. But I had to tell you how much I love what you do with Chrono Trigger music (and I typically listen to fairly negative/aggressive music).
I played that game when it first came out and then last year I reacquainted myself with it just to find that it was just as amazing as I remembered it.
20 years later and still, nothing compares to the story arc of Janus and Schala. The fact that your lyrics in this song can touch me the same way as the game does is remarkable.
I'm in my thirties and very tired of the direction that music has been going for most of my life. Thank you for remembering what music truly is. You are one of the most talented people I have ever seen on UA-cam.

Oh my God, that was incredible. This song has a lot of really deep and bitter sweet beauty to me, and although I've never heard anyone provide vocals for it, the words you sung were oddly and profoundly significant to that meaning. Also the bitter part of it is something that will be reduced soon... soon as in today... after over 20 years. Wow, just wow. Such a beautify performance, and you look absolutely stunning as Schala.
You need a dreamstone pendant to go with the outfit though. Still though, you moved me to tears. Thank you.
