I'll say it a million times but the revolver is legitimately one of the strongest mid-long range weapons in the game lmfao. 6 max range revolver shots does 126 damage, so with lots of spies staying well outside of the normal range of any enemy's weapons it's very hard to contend with. Only sniper really stands much of a chance, but a sniper will have to deal with a lot more people able to hit him and make him flinch. So uh, gunspy stack op lmao
Its honestly soo fun to play lol. Yeah the revolver is very underrated. When i watch top level competitive spies, they usually all use the revolver in high level games.
@@dumblenutz5561 Sap a building and unload into it! Buildings can't dodge your bullets and the engie will either fail to save it from you or you'll be enough of a distraction to get someone else to destroy it. It's just a free and swift destruction if the engie leaves it for even just a second too.

With a normal team comp, everyone's playing the game the way they want. But once everyone all goes one class, they've made the choice to surrender their autonomy in favour of joining the hivemind and proving that they can still win.
It's because the spy's revolver is like the only long range, hit-scan, somewhat rapid-firing weapon in a game that is otherwise very skewed towards close range. This means that they can mass their fire without having to reposition to make up for the revolver's lower damage, and do so from relative safety.

You couldn't do this with shotguns because they lack the range to attack from safety or switch targets without spending time to reposition. The range of the revolver facilitates mass firing better than other weapons.

I always feel like when a team goes "all in" on a single class, most players struggle against it when there isn't a coordination factor to help them out.
I remember playing 12 medics vs 12 ABSOLUTE tryhards on dust bowl that were toxic asf. We lost by a lot but we had a lot of fun and basically humored the tryhards.
I love that TF2 has such great depth is skill that no other shooter has even come close to in competitive play while simultaneously is a game where tryhards can die to the dumbest of BS

Surprisingly enough guns are really effective for someone that can literally turn invisible.

To be fair it needs at least 5 to go from weak to strong otherwise 1 spy is the perfect amount
