I love Learn Squared. I've bought and taken a few classes, and always learns so much from them. I'm curious how it is you guys justify marketing your classes by stating that these are the tools you will need to get into the industry. While that may be the case today, or even a few months from now. It will most likely not be the case in the near future. With the onset of AI the way all artists work within the industry will change. It's very likely that most of the skills that are being taught in these classes will not be useful in getting you into a career in the industry. Maciej has stated himself in recent podcasts, that he knows for a fact that many productions are no longer higher Ing many concept artists. And instead opting to higher AI artists or prompt engineers, and having them work with a much smaller team of concept artists, and those artists are just there to work on top of the prompted art. I imagine this type of higher Ing shift is also happening in other parts of the entertainment art industry as well, not just the design and concept part of the pipeline. Perhaps you guys should take a look at how these classes are being promoted, considering the major shift in the industry that is happening now, and will continue to happen. It's not good to peddle dreams to people at a cost. But if your products are promoted more accurately, with AI being considered in the way it should be in your marketing, I think that would be beneficial to everyone buying your products.

That's an incredibly good point. I can't believe it didn't cross my mind earlier!
Here's the thing. Marketing will always be predatory. That is it's purpose. In my opinion, what WE as individuals and as artist need to keep in mind, is that we are CREATIVE people.
Isn't it paradoxical that the supposedly most original and self exploratory group of people are expecting a road map, a step by step to success, ultimately a pipe dream? As creators why do we want to put ourselves inside a box, follow rules and be obedient workers who don't stray away from the path expected from them.
I am extremely guilty of this as well. So let's us reflect upon this, learn what we want to learn from people who we admire, but invest some of our creativeness into our own learning journey.
Let's not fall into the trap of following what the latest big popular studio or company standards and apply it to ourselves.
Let us choose our own standards, let us trace our own path.
And yes, bad faith influencers and companies will try to leverage our insecurities in order to get money from us. But at the end of the day, we need to be stronger.
