That was hilarious! I again wish the cameraman explained the product to them. The fact that we eat them around campfires we don’t usually cook them in our kitchen. And explain the name s’mores Being a combination of some and more because you want some more.
@R 8888 I was wishing the same. I'm not 100% sure, but I got the impression that they thought there were both marshmallows and some type of cream (like whipped cream?) in them. I wish they'd explained that it's the combination of the toasted marshmallows melting and sort of combining with the melting chocolate that gives them that "creamy" texture. A short video showing how people make them around a campfire would be pretty cool for them to see because they could see the actual process, then make them at home with their kids! I'm also a bit confused by the graham crackers that were used. They seemed awfully hard at least compared to what I'm used to here in the states. The first official recipe for a s'more came out in the 1927 Girl Scout guidebook "Tramping and Trailing with the Girl Scouts", credited to a troop leader named Loretta Scott Crew. Traditionally everyone toasts their own marshmallow, around a fire, at the end of the day of camping.

The problem is, graham crackers are really only available in the US/Canada and maybe northern mexico so who knows what cracker they are using. Probably something eq to a saltine in the US. Don't get me wrong, graham crackers aren't full of flavors, but they aren't bland either. A saltine is bland. Pretty sure this is an American ,USA, invention if we can call it that. Some more became s'mores and a treat at any campfire setting. Going camping, backpacking, backyard gathering everyone loves s'mores. Some like to almost burning their marshmellows and pull them out of the fire blazing, some do the continual twirling of stick, others have the the right technique for a lightly golden brown marshmellow. Been making them since the 50's and now with the grandchildren. You can stick other tasty things inside too to make it even more heavenly. To the marshmellow, it's plain friend the Graham cracker, and beautiful sidekick the Hershey chocolate bar!
I don't know about anywhere else, but here in the Midwest, you can buy them as a kit: Hershey's chocolate bars, Kraft marshmallows and Nabisco graham crackers in a single package.
You really need to let them roast the marshmallows themselves! Basic instructions for them: 1. Skewer a marshmallow (or two) on the end of a stick (a green stick, not a dry stick). 2. Hold the stick so the marshmallow is over the coals of a campfire, or above the heat or flame of a burner or candle. 3. Turn the stick slowly over the heat so that the marshmallow roasts and turns golden brown. If the marshmallow blackens a little, it's not a catastrophe. A lot of people like some charring on it. If the marshmallow catches fire, no problem. Just blow it out. 4. Have a graham cracker with the flat piece of chocolate on it all ready and warm. When the marshmallow is roasted to your preferred color, slide it off the end of the stick and onto the chocolate. 5. Cover the marshmallow with another graham cracker, squishing it down to make the s'more. And be sure to eat this treat while it is still warm, gooey, and delicious! Making s'mores is a wonderfully fun experience for a person to do themselves, rather than have someone do for them. The s'mores that the tribal people were served looked like they had not been roasted... just heated enough to make the marshmallows soft. Either that or the assembled s'mores were allowed to cool off too much. I'm glad that the treats still tasted okay, but the cooler marshmallow was very stretchy and the crackers were breaking up... a sign that the parts were not warm enough to hold together well. Try again for a better experience for our tribal friends and more individual and communal involvement. S'mores are definitely a treat they can easily and enjoyably make themselves and with their family and friends with the three ingredients, some sticks, and a campfire or other flame. They don't need an oven or a microwave. Give each person his own stick and several marshmallows, with the grahams and chocolate in reach. Then let them enjoy the making of the s'mores as a group activity. It will be more fun for them and for the viewers!
1. Everything you posted was correct if wordy. 2. AaaHHH please learn paragraphs. 3. Toasted marshmallows without any char or at least a golden coat make baby Jesus cry.

Wow, how coincidental- last week at my store (The Real Canadian Superstore) our "deal of the week" at the checkout was a "S'mores Kit". (Marshmallows/graham cracker biscuits/chocolate in a box, some assembly required. 😂) People were buying them to take camping or to the beach. (You can have a fire on the beach right now but soon there will be a fire ban...every summer...and water restrictions.... even though the beach next to the Pacific ocean is the least dangerous place for a fire!😆) I am not a fan of marshmallow (since my last pregnancy (18 yrs ago!🤣) when the smell of them made me ill) but S'mores are HUGELY popular in North America. Glad they liked them. Good video! ♥️
I firmly believe that the world would be a better place is more people were as humble, honest and appreciative towards the little things in life. I remember watching a Christmas present video with them, and they even appreciated the gift bags, so many people overlook them but they appreciated everything, from the packaging to the gifts themselves. I respect them and admire them, in fact, I am slowly reading the Sunnahs so I can try to understand their religion. I don't think that languages and nationalities are a barrier, I learn so much from simply watching them and learning about their country and religion. Simple and beautiful people.
If you're unable to use a campfire/fire to roast the marshmallows, you can make them in the microwave (or oven even), 10 seconds at a time. You have to watch it, otherwise, the marshmallows will start expanding. I made them this way last week (great when you're wanting one in the winter!).
Pretty sure we did them that way in the first place lol I am pretty sure we roasted mallows and ate chocolate, but never made real s'mores while camping.

We camped a lot when I was growing up and these were a real treat. I took my own kids camping a lot too, we even spent several entire summers camping in the woods. When chocolate covered graham crackers first came out we switched to those and never went back to chocolate bars.
And they managed to keep it out of their beards and 'staches. They deserve a medal for that feat alone. ❤️ Homemade marshmallows are even more delicious in a smore
I first had S'mores when I was a girl scout. We assembled them and wrapped them in aluminum foil, placing them on the edge of the campfire to melt the marshmallow and chocolate.
Haha, I just watched a New Zealand family try them for the first time (the kids' eyes went as big as dinner plates when they bit into them, it was adorable). And now I'm reminded that I need to get s'mores ingredients for the next time I make a fire in my backyard. :D
The looks on their faces when they first took a bite made me laugh. Also, they should have been told this was original a snack meant for eating when you go camping.
Smores are great, we usually have them as a desert around an open fire when camping or after a BBQ. Your graham crackers look different from ours or are you unable to get them locally?
To TPT staff. You REALLY need to start showing these gentlemen how some of these things are made. S'mores would be a perfect example. I think they'd find roasting marshmallows amsuing.
I never made them while camping, but when I was a kid we would usually make them after my dad finished grilling something on our charcoal grill. By the time dinner is over the coals are cool enough to approach comfortably and grill our marshmallows for our S'mores. And, something I discovered as an adult - instead of the plain chocolate use an entire Reese's cup. They also make chocolate graham crackers which bring any S'more to the next level.
We also normally make them with Graham crackers instead of those digestive biscuits. Graham crackers have a unique flavor that elevates this even further.
The guy with the grey shirt and rolled sleeves hit the hash pipe one to many times before the shoot 🤣 these are great videos! I appreciate the work you guys all put in 💯
Those don't look like graham crackers, they just look like a normal cracker/biscuit. S'mores require sweet graham cracker biscuits. Not sure how available they are in their area so I understand if they couldn't be acquired, but it's just not the same since the graham crackers are half the flavor.
We usually make them when camping. We cut a small stick off a tree, sharpen its end with a knife, poke 2 marshmallows on its end and roast them over fire. Great video, glad they liked the s'mores.
One of the best memories I have growing up is preparing marshmallows over an open fire and making these s’mores with my family during summer evenings after swimming at the lake or river.
I was told by a friend who went abroad that extra honey Digestive Biscuits are a close enough substitute. (Although I cannot confirm myself) We Americans tend to use Hershey Milk Chocolate, but I think any Milk Chocolate will do. Put the room temperature, almost melty chocolate on a biscuit, impale the marshmallow on a skewer, and put it over a fire. When it's hot/golden enough stick that on your chocolate biscuit, and sandwich it with another biscuit. Tends to be a served as a camping desert.
These are usually served with friends around a fire. The adults would roast the marshmallows on a stick for the small kids. The hot roasted marshmallows are placed on a square of chocolate to melt the chocolate into the bottom biscuit and then it is topped with another biscuit.
This should be made with thin graham crackers. These biscuits/cookies seem too thick and tough. S'mores need something that will break easily since it's so messy.

Haha, I just watched a New Zealand family try them for the first time (the kids' eyes went as big as dinner plates when they bit into them, it was adorable). And now I'm reminded that I need to get s'mores ingredients for the next time I make a fire in my backyard. :D
I adore these people. I have never seen a video of them that didn't make me smile!
Yes, Nawab sahib! I heartily agree that chocolate helps with mood swings(and everything else)
I just found you guys yesterday and can’t stop watching much love
Yes! We do that here, too.
You're absolutely right about it being the perfect snack for guests. It's a game night staple.
We also normally make them with Graham crackers instead of those digestive biscuits. Graham crackers have a unique flavor that elevates this even further.
The guy with the grey shirt and rolled sleeves hit the hash pipe one to many times before the shoot 🤣 these are great videos! I appreciate the work you guys all put in 💯
He said chocolate can help you with mood swings…
The man is a genius!
There has not been a Tribal People Try video that hasn't managed to put a smile on my face
Yes! Sitting on a yacht eating so-mores enjoying the breeze! Sounds like a plan!
s'mores are a great snack when setting around the fire. easy to make and carry the ingredients for.
Those don't look like graham crackers, they just look like a normal cracker/biscuit. S'mores require sweet graham cracker biscuits. Not sure how available they are in their area so I understand if they couldn't be acquired, but it's just not the same since the graham crackers are half the flavor.
My observation as well. Did not look like the proper cracker. Looked like a cracker you would have with cheese.
Saw that as well. It looks like a salty wheat cracker which ruins the whole thing. It HAS to be made with Graham Crackers.
Hahaha!! I just love Raffique! "I must eat it regularly now."
Love your video and you guys! Food is so magical and brings all people together! God be with you!
is it just me or are these guys' descriptions of their experience awesome
I love that they all bless the food before eating.
Love this channel !
@3:43 this good fella appears to be drunk from the s'moresy intoxication 😅... I want some too...😋
It would have been good to show them how to make them at a campfire
You all give me hope; thank you and God bless.
camping
when I was a kid
good memories
We usually make them when camping. We cut a small stick off a tree, sharpen its end with a knife, poke 2 marshmallows on its end and roast them over fire. Great video, glad they liked the s'mores.
I love how they are enamored with s’mores. I’m the same way!
One of the best memories I have growing up is preparing marshmallows over an open fire and making these s’mores with my family during summer evenings after swimming at the lake or river.
These are best made at a campfire, with the marshmallow browned and a little smoky, and the chocolate melting.
I'm in the UK and definitely want to try one. Looks yummy 😋
Use Graham crackers only, please.
So pure!🙂
Very happy I found this Channel
Mr. Chaudhary looked like a cute vampire with the little marshmallow pieces on each side of his mouth..😆
These are usually served with friends around a fire. The adults would roast the marshmallows on a stick for the small kids. The hot roasted marshmallows are placed on a square of chocolate to melt the chocolate into the bottom biscuit and then it is topped with another biscuit.
I don’t think I’ve seen them all so united in praise for a sweet since they had donuts :-)
Love you guys. Hello from Toronto Ontario Canada many blessings to you all
This should be made with thin graham crackers. These biscuits/cookies seem too thick and tough. S'mores need something that will break easily since it's so messy.
@@gingerninjer355, you must have many many comments to be critical of. Don't be a hypocrite with your criticism.
@@gingerninjer355 Huh? Why that comment?
@@pacmanc8103, I'm starting to notice people talking about negativity and criticism are far more negative than the original commenter. My comment is just fact, not judgement, and this Ginger weirdo slings negativity and judgement around. Says more about him/her than me. Whatever.
Have a nice day!
Never had one before, but I’d like to try em now. I’d have to find the UK version of a Graham Cracker first and the other ingredients are easy, chocolate, marshmallow and a campfire!
Digestive biscuits seem very similar to graham crackers.
Amazon sell them.
Aww when you click on knowing the responses already! Beautiful 😍
S'mores are the BEST thing about camping or having a cookout (cooking dinner outside on a grill).
Please give them to try Tiramisù, Chaudhary will love it 😋😋😋
Oh yes! I agree!
