It would be interesting if your channel would choose dishes from other Countries for the Panel to try that only contain ingredients which are common and inexpensive in their local shops as well (like the potatoes). That way not only can the panel easily recreate their favorite foreign dishes but it would allow those local to recreate said dishes as well so they can taste what the Panel enjoys.
With everybody's comments about tasting a bit like fish, or chicken shawarma, or roasted meat, I wonder if they fried the "tater tots" in oil used for fish, kind of like how fish and chip shop chips have a little bit of a fishy taste (not a bad fishy taste, but just characteristic.)
I've said it before but MUST say it again, I want to hug you all and call you Uncle! Adorable you are, every one of you! I have an idea. I think each of you with your families, could make your families favorite dish and bring it for the rest of the cast to try. Since many of you live or were raised close together, you may have to cook an American dish you love and you've learned to make since starting on this channel. Or perhaps an old family recipe not eaten regularly in your area. It's such an interesting idea to me bc you'd have the opportunity to teach us. For example I am dying to see what Parkoy/Partoy (I think that's what you said lol), and Roti are as well as how they're prepared and utilized in cuisine. I personally don't like eating meat often, so bc of what I've learned about your cultures food habits, I know there is many meals in which meat does not play a part (I will eat eggs but not even chicken 90% of the time, but never fish), and often vegetarian options. You guys have great taste, can't wait to see what you come up with if you take the challenge.

Did you know back in the mid 1900s butchers would throw out chicken wings as they were considered leftover scraps? I don't see what's wrong with wasting less food. People adore Pringles are those are literally potato mush pressed into a chip shape.

Butter, shredded cheese, sour cream, diced onion, chopped chives, salt, pepper, chili peppers, crumbled cooked mince, chili, cooked corn - I’m sure different people have different toppings. It makes an entire meal. I like mine with cottage cheese and salsa.

Was the oil fresh or did you fry some fish before? Cuz that fishy taste definitely stays in the oil. I love tater tots, but I hate getting them from seafood restaurants because they usually have a fishy taste
They seem to like potatoes every way they've been prepared so far. How about serving them a loaded baked potato with all the toppings, or latkes or mashed potatoes with gravy? How about cheesy potatoes aka "funeral potatoes", potato soup?
I go to Casino Arizona with buddies for Monday Night Football and they have a huge basket of tater tots with chili and cheese for $5. Mmmmm, now I can't wait for football season to start up again...

In Canada we just buy them frozen but they are not shredded or riced potato…they are more like tiny square hash browns formed into a cylindrical shape and deep fried or oven baked with oil. Haha exactly like your thumbnail image.
McDonalds does make the same thing. It’s flat and they call it a hash brown but it’s the same thing as a tater tot….it’s just a different shape. They’re wonderful little things. I love them…..the kids love them…..men love them…..everybody loves tater tots.
Film an episode where (Chaudry) attempts to recreate one of these recipes that he enjoys but now can create himself. Could be another tryer not just Chaudry. Would be interesting to see them incorporate some "Western" recipes into their regular diet; simply because they enjoyed those. Maybe learning different techniques for food preparation as well.
Wonder if they have tried Jalapeno Poppers? They could do bacon wrapped and both types (with cream cheese and cheddar cheese.) The cook does a good job trying to recreate the dishes. I’m sure it’s hard getting all the ingredients for everything.
This is one of those foods that have a huge variety and many countries have their own traditional version. We Hungarians make the grated potato into patties.
If only I had the money to bring you all to the US to try our food... listening to Rana use English words always makes me smile. Buy this man a language learning program to help him learn English! He definitely seems like the one guy who would throw himself into a program like that!
Oh thats for sure something they would actually make at home too, their wives would look at them like they were insane, but once they try they would understand lol.
Tater tots are small and are grated potatoes. No flour or any coating. If it taste like fish or chicken, something is wrong. It should just taste like potatoes since that is the only ingredient in tater tots

Almost 7 minutes before I heard (read) him say “Roti”. And that it wasn’t needed 😮❣️
i love how they learn new recepies they can make at home!
I think part of the problem may be that the same fryer had been used for fish? This really made me smile. I love all of you. You just warm my heart.
I've never seen tater tots that big!! I'd say more like potato cakes
Fried, or browned tater hash cakes.
I'm glad these humble, honest men are getting to experience a world of new experiences that they probably would never have even thought to pray for.
These guys are truly LIVING.
@@badladyami right!
Was the oil fresh or did you fry some fish before? Cuz that fishy taste definitely stays in the oil.
I love tater tots, but I hate getting them from seafood restaurants because they usually have a fishy taste
@@judgedredd8841 very smart and hygienic. Reused fish grease collects bacteria that can cause stomachache and diarrhea.
It's true. Even after cooking fish in my air fryer you will still taste it slightly on the potatoes. Even though there's little to no oil!
Mmmmm, now I can't wait for football season to start up again...
mr moustache , mr teeth , mr doctor , and mr uncle , full of wisdom . id love to put them up in my house to treat them to lobster supper an to find out about their lives.love these guys , god bless them all
Would be fun to see them go on tours of other countries taking in the sites and foods. Expensive I'm sure.
I work at McDonalds, and do have to admit that our hash browns really are pretty good.
What a pleasant site this is! Genuine human kindness and sweet men, makes my day.
What about TikTok? I think I missed something. I love tater tots with Cheese 😃 Great video as always 🙏🏻❤️
you guys are awesome. very articulate, thanks for sharing your thoughts.
This is one of those foods that have a huge variety and many countries have their own traditional version. We Hungarians make the grated potato into patties.
I would love to hangout with these fellas. And learn about there food and culture.
I bought some tater tots a couple months ago. I hadn't had them in decades. They were such a treat and a walk down memory lane.
Potato skins, twice baked potato, fried potato wedges, loaded baked potato….. So many ways they can enjoy potatoes.
If only I had the money to bring you all to the US to try our food... listening to Rana use English words always makes me smile. Buy this man a language learning program to help him learn English! He definitely seems like the one guy who would throw himself into a program like that!
My mother used to make these in the oven when we were having fish. When I was in college they deep fried them.
Loved it! Have them try a “twice baked”potato. I think they will enjoy it just as much 😀👍
Oh thats for sure something they would actually make at home too, their wives would look at them like they were insane, but once they try they would understand lol.
Tater tots are small and are grated potatoes. No flour or any coating. If it taste like fish or chicken, something is wrong. It should just taste like potatoes since that is the only ingredient in tater tots
no the deep frying oil.
typically the food is all wrong........producers are lazy and ignorant.
@@jokes881 but tater tots is just grated potato. Nothing else. How can you mess that up.
Most tater tots have binder and spices added, and get a light sugar coating to make them brown and crispy when cooked.
Love my boys! We all love tater tots!
