I made this recipe for everyone and it was absolutely delicious! I left it in for 35 minutes and it came out the perfect golden brown, and the crust was perfectly flaky. With a scoop of vanilla ice cream it was a heavenly end to the dinner. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
U put ice cream with it???? Ouffffff ITS SO SO SOOOO SWEET WITH ALL THE SUGAR AND WITH ALL THAT GLAZE ???? It's enough to fall out dead on the ground!!!!!! You sure have """ALL TEETH SWEET"""" NOT ONLY ONE SWEET TOOTH !!! lolllllllllllllllll
I have tried these recipes but I am not a fan of the bottom layer of crescent roll as it seems too soft and mushy. I was wondering if the bottom could be cooked a little in the oven to get it started b4 adding any of the toppings and going forward with the top layer of crescent roll covering ?
Thank you for this ❤.. Especially for the ppl like myself who no longer have Granny’s to share their recipes with 😍.. I’m so tickled when I see ppl ask for measurements lol you got to eye it 😂
I love that can opener!! Lol I’m gonna try a version of this tonight!! Gonna make a pineapple mixture, gram cracker crust on the bottom and crescent on top, that’s just what I have on hand wanted a good summer weekday dessert…. Ooh that looks so good!!!
@@southforyourmouthcooking You are exactly right Memaw!! I’ve had this with and without fruit, and just plain is really delicious too. I only make this when I’m SURE company is coming because if I’m being honest and I am , I’d be eating it everyday until it was gone. Many blessings and much love to you and your family. ❤️

Glad to hear from you. They say the Blueberry and the strawberry ones are delish. But, you can’t go wrong with just a Cream Cheese Danish. Have a blessed day. If u make one, let me know how u like it.

followed and it came out good just like it did in video, however personal preference wise.. id cut the sugar down to about half especially if you add the frosting/icing.. it was also quite liquidy so i split it in half and put crumbled nilla wafers to thicken, and put it on as a topping to belgium waffles for the other half and it was amazing. overall simple an easy to follow ty for the recipe
1 stick of melted butter 1 pound powdered sugar Enough milk to make the right consistency 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Blend together with wire whisk. Add milk a little at the time to make it the right consistency to pour over the Danish. Enjoy
@@southforyourmouthcooking I always called this buttercream icing...never really measured..lol..just dumped it in..lol..never made this with the icing but going to try it..thanks
1st recipe I seen online called for 15 minute baking time, NOPE THE BOTTOM DIDN'T COOK. PS...I WILL PUT IT BACK IN FOR 20 MIN. I FORGOT GRAHAM CRACKERS SO I USED CRUSHED COCOA PUFFS CHERRY FILLING OFCOURSE. DELICIOUS!
Its the first recipe Ive seen mixing in an egg with the cream cheese mixture. What quantities of each ingredient for the glaze did you use for your 13x9 inch recipe? Id like to try this recipe; it looks yummy!
I think I put 1/2 stick of melter butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Only add enough milk to make it the right consistency. Start with 2 tablespoons then add more if you need it. ( it should be thin enough to pour over the Danish)
Greetings from Canada. I just discovered your channel today. That looks so delicious! Quick and easy too! I love your Southern accents by the way. Where in the South are you guy's from?
@@RobinElsner-m4o For the Glazers….I used maybe 2 cups powdered sugar, 3 Tab melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and enough milk to make it the right consistency to glaze the top
When adding the milk, add a 2 or 3 tablespoons to start with and stir. Add more milk (a tablespoon at a time) If needed to make it the right consistency. Enjoy
I imagine puff pastry would work, or you could try homemade pie crust. Brush the top with either milk or egg wash before baking. Glad to hear from you.
Just a tip bake your bottom crust for about 10 minutes it won’t get soggy with the filling
Good idea. Thanks!

Next time you should use Pillsbury sheet 😊

Scoop of vanilla ice cream come on now
Amounts?
2 ...8oz pkgs cream cheese softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 can of Pie Cherries
2 Crescent Rolls
to much glaze
Way, way, wayyy too much sugar… I would go into diabetic coma…
You might can buy artificial sweetened fruit and use Splenda in the cream cheese
Good recipe...I used to make this years ago...I never put egg whites on top before....FYI...cut the music next time...very annoying!
