Wayyyy cheaper than the OH Bakery ones and looks good too! Yes I will make this also! I’ve done the same with cream cheese and cooked sausage and cheese sprinkled on top with pampered chef. Also very good!
Thank you for your insight. This is my version of Danish Kringle and I did use puff pastry. “A Kringle is a “Danish". “Danish pastry” or a “Danish” is an umbrella term for various types of buttery, flaky pastry. A Kringle is a pastry made with layers of sweet, flaky pastry, filled with fruit, nut or gourmet filling and topped with sweet icing.” “Easy to confuse due to the similar names, strudel and streusel are actually different types of dessert. An apple strudel has thin sheets of pastry wrapped around the filling, while streusel is a crumbly sweet topping of sugar, flour, and butter that is often layered over pies and cakes.”
Puff pastry dough is not the same as Kringle dough; Kringle dough has yeast or sour cream and puff pastry dough does not. Puff pastry dough has 6 lamination turns and Kringle has 2. Completely different pastry doughs in both ingredients and techniques. But anything made with puff pastry is delicious although it is not a Kringle.
Delicious cherry cream cheese Danish kringle!

Ooo! That sounds scrumptious, too! I'll have to try that!! Thankyou❤
😊
Awesome! Can’t wait to make this. Thank you
You should watch Chef Jean Pierre for the proper usage of that zester. Makes a world of difference, since i followed his direction.
Kringles are made with puff pastry and solid, not cut with strips. This is more of a strudel dough😮l

Can you use the no bake cheesecake from Pillsbury that comes in a tub for the filling? I have some left over that I need to use up.
@@ConnieMW10That's right! I forgot about that! Thanks❤😊
