Dear Jani, Thanks a lot for all of your movies regarding the n43 engine. I'm pretty sure they will help me out at some point. I had to exchange the injectors and the nox sensor (Noxem) and would have been glad if your videos exist at that time. Go on with your excellent work. Best, Georg
Dear Jani. I have replaced my NOX sensor and the question is when you reset the Nox sensor itself should the offset value start from Zero and stop it somewhere 3,4 after a run? How is your value? Thanks
Good video! I only get a 30EA error - no other error about the NOx sensor. However, the "Schubabschaltung" value is "!14.00" in the NOx-Sensor page. In your video, this value was "!10.00". The NOx is transmitting data. The "Lineares Lambdasignal" is working - sometimes the car goes into Stratified mode. Do I still need to change the sensor because of the "Schubabschaltung" value?
Hello. I have replaced mine because my offset value was !12. Resetted it and its working properly. The car goes into Stratifyed mode. The only thing is that the offset value still 4 instead of Zero. I don't know should be Zero at all!?
@@szoboszlainorbert9659 I believe this value is supposed to change. I've had it at 0, 2, 3, 4... etc. If I'm not mistaken, when driving, if you lift off the throttle, the value should change. With my old sensor, I didn't see this change. With the new one, I haven't checked it live i.e. when driving but only when the car is stationary.
After replacement with aftermarket NOX sensor i have error - 2AED DME: Nitrogen Oxide Sensor,Version. Mechanic says adaptions was made, or maybe its because sensor is bad.?
Does it work/ fix the issue if you only replace the part and not do the coding? I just took my 1 series E87 to a garage to be repaired and they said it didnt need coding and only needed the part replacing. I provided them with the part. Have they dont it right? Hoping someone can help

This is an excellent video series! I followed the video on the injectors, changed and coded them. Unfortunately it didn't fix all issues. It may still misfire if you're at steady speed and approaching a hill for example. Then you can really feel it. You have to stop and restart. Then then the engine light goes away and you can procede as before if you go slower. On INPA it throws cyl 4 misfire and DeNox-catalyst fault codes. Have already changed the plugs and ignition coils to OEM ones. The previous owner had the timing chain done and also did a compression test which was ok. So I don't think the engine has a mechanical problem. I am suspecting the nox sensor now since most other things are changed. Does anybody know if the procedure of changing the sensor is nearly identifical on a E61 520i with the N43-engine? I am wondering how many panels I would need to remove to access it? Is the nut a 22mm? Nice tool there. Is that one available on ebay etc? Would the nut need heating with gas before attempting to remove it?
Thanks! Hope you can find solution for your e61. That tool is super and founded it from local store 👍 Sensors from exhaust can be very tight, but helps if you have correct tools.
