I enjoyed the good humor and the explanations on how to fold our clothing items. I also kept wondering how much this lady looks like Celine Dion! Maybe she also sings to her clothes while she's folding! LOL. TFS. Thumbs up!!!
I fold this way and it's been great, but keeping them up like that does drive me nuts.... I tend to put a few items in the drawer first, then as I fold I just keep adding to the drawer so they don't fall over. It does help in terms of seeing what t-shirts are in front of you or what jeans and you can fit more in the drawer or shelf!
wondering how many others DO NOT have teeny tiny jeans that fold down to that size lol..... as for the tshirt method of folding ... as a retail assistant many decades ago, I was taught to do this... in those days it was how all retail assistants were taught in our store.. as for the Konmari method lol the young lass who 'invented it' is not old enough to have invented it lol ... she may have appropriated it but not invented it...
I know right, I thought I had seen a black and white video with a demonstration of something sorta similarly except the lady was blonde maybe. I remember before people started praising her I could have sworn a Chinese Lady and Man where doing this, it's an old video from the 70's or late 60's it's been about twenty years ago. I think I was watching something about life in the 40's, the 60's and the 70's this popped up afterwards.
The problem ist: The stack was on the shelf, whereas the nifty folded stuff was in a drawer. What do you do when you only have shelves? I've read the KonMari book and watched several viedeos but all the creativity this method sparks ends when there are ony shelves.
I have bed bugs living in projects, so I have to wash, fold , and put them in clear plastic bags inside my wardrobe or closet. Please give me a solution on folding.
I moved three years ago but the house wasn’t quite finished in time so I didn’t unpack all the boxes right away. Now they are a mess in the basement that keeps us from being able to use the space at all. But just looking at them is overwhelming so I don’t know how to tackle them.
I've been folding like that for 50 years...just thought everybody does it that way. I also roll my socks and cover my shoes with shower caps in my luggage when packing for travel. My makeup goes in a ziplock bag until I arrive at my destination. Most everythng is just common sense for making use of space.

I think you should get a basket for the clothes on your shelves

Treat your clothes as if they’re people.
