I acquired a Ryobi 40V lawnmower; then a midrange pressure washer for patio, car, and outdoor griddle; then a brush cutter/string trimmer; and finally a snow thrower attachment for the powerhead of the cutter/trimmer. The battery endurance is excellent across the board, and there is plenty of power. The fresh, sharp blades on the lawnmower and brush cutter have made cutting easy. The snow thrower takes care of 6 inches of snow on my whole driveway on a single 6A battery, including where a snowplow fills up the end of the driveway with densely packed snow from the street. These tools are heavy but configured very well for handling. Impressively designed and built series.
When I bought my house I had to cut a lot of crypt Myrtle’s and other bushes. This chain saw laid for itself many times over. Highly recommend purchasing this for the home user.
I had a very large tree fall in my backyard. I didn't have a chainsaw so I purchased the 18 inch version of the one in the video. I've been able to make a crappie problem very manageable. I had some of the larger batteries and they did the trick. The only complaint I have is the oil cap loosens up and the oil spills out.
You are fortunate. Mine brand new out of the box SERIOUSLY leaks the oil until the reservoir is dry. When you are done cutting, you have to pour all of the oil out or it will be all over..
Nice. Which one is stronger in current A? 6 ah capacity or 8 ah? Seems like the 8ah only has 20 cells where the 6 ah has 30 cells. Curious at what A the bms shuts off
40 volt makes sense for power hungry items like outdoor power tools. A gripe that people have is having different battery platforms. Ryobi has done this within its own tools but I believe buyers are willing to accept having separate batteries for their hand tools and outdoor tools. From what I seen, Ryobi brushless hand tool are pretty darn good and more affordable than some of the other brands.

I like Ryobi tools in general, but their lawnmowers sucks. The cheap switches they use end up failing rendering it inoperable until replaced.
