Malay language use a lot of E sound end of words.. example saya, it's sound saye ( e sounds like enough ...the E ) and Malaysia Malay language is different from one state to another but we speak formal Bahasa melayu for formal things like at school, in government offices)

And Malaysia have 13 different state and 13 different dialect of Malay language...
The ‘e’ or schwa you mentioned earlier is exclusive to Southern dialects (Selangor, Melaka, Johor), Pahang, and Terengganu. But since the Johor Malay variety was chosen to be standardized, (plus the influence of Singaporean broadcast pre-independence), the accent sticks. Now it became the dominant accent, despite the standard Malay has its own Baku (formal) pronunciation.
Secondly, we don’t have 13 different dialects per se. Perlis, Kedah, and Penang are in the same dialect continuum and so do Selangor, Melaka, and Johor. But i guess many can be considered distinct enough to be its own dialect. Also, Reman Malay (Baling) is its own Malay dialect distinct from Kedahan or Kelantanese. At the same time, Pahang dialect continuum has tons of subdialects. Terengganu has two, the famous one and the Hulu one, these two to an extent are not mutually intelligible. And we haven’t even begin to talk about Malaysian Borneo yet.
