In my first playthrough I neer really tried to fight them until much later on when I was re-doing a mission and realized they're not that hard, it was then that I realized how much I could humiliate them and make them my bitches

He spends most of the game chasing after venom thinking hes the real big boss but when you finally find him at the outpost, volgin realizes who venom really his thus literally having his flame die out.

They literally did nothing for that fight anyway lol. Anyways, eli hated big boss because he knew about the project that major zero did on big boss and he also still thought venom was big boss when venom took him and his group from africa.Psycho mantis didnt know how to control his powers yet so he was easily influenced by eli and volgin. Tip: To get the skulls that fast,use the Brennan sniper, at the mist skulls its a 1 shot,for the camouflage skulls it's a 1 shot, for a armor skull it's 3 shots (including the armor it's 4)
The skuls are eerie, but I personally found the beauty and the beast unit more terrifying. Especially the wolf, with her giant railgun 1st person chase cam and the howling as soon as old snake touched the ground.

+CocoaNutCakery You can hold multiple parasite cartridges that you can activate immediately one after another. The stealth camo will run out of power, then you have to wait a long time until you can get stealth again. So in essence you can use camo parasites for a LONG duration of stealth.
+Savage Butt But Stealth Camo is expensive to deploy (precious metal), also, if you already have even the prototype stealth camo and the second anti materiel rifle, you can one hit kill the camo skulls, they will die instantly from a 30 meters or so headshot in regular Code Talker, and are worth a shit ton of parasites witch will cost you only 3 to deploy with max ammo of it. That said, it's realy a issue of personal preference, if you got the resources, stealth camo for the win, if you wanna be invisible wile using NVGs then go with parasite suit, etc..

You don't need guided missiles if you're fighting the female skulls. You just need a sniper rifle and an assault rifle (just in case they want to do cqc with you)
No no no no no... Dont use Guided missles on the Armored Skulls... Use Weapon emplacements or the 30mm Gun on the Zhuk... The High ROF Is what makes it easy... not the damage...

I mean, it's really stupid how they built it so close to the main base. COVID has taught me that they were really stupid, since an offshore platform ought to control the spread very easily, they didn't even isolate each deck from the others with testing on the bridges.
to defeat the camouflage skulls (the female one) i recommend using a sniper and the Stealth Camo If you dont have the stealth camo, use the sniper with a silencer Use D-Dog too, he marks the skulls

The SPAS 12 Shotgun works very well on the mist skulls and the 50 Cal Sniper Rifle works very good on the Armor Skulls and the Lady Skulls as well. That has worked great for me.
Beto patino,you should develop the Rasp-TB SG which will open up 4 versions of the shotgun.go to the last one which is the Rasp-TB SG SB (short barrel) and if you have your R&D level in the mid 50s and obviously Gmp,then you should be able to fully upgrade it to level 5.once it's done developing to lv.5, give it a try in mission 29 Metallic Archaea and you'll see how powerful the little shotgun can be 💪👍.and as for a sniper,get the A mrs- 71 sniper rifle or if you want something powerful, I suggest the Brennan L4RS
You dont really have to use rockets to take down the Skulls. Use the Brennan or the Serval heavy sniper rifle. Aim for their heads to get greater damage
subsistence is just an enhanced version of snake eater .. but the camera in subsistence is way way better. also the secret theater on the second disk was hilarious

In the beginning of the game and first saw the "skulls" i was like nope directly ran to d horse and ran to da chopper i was like bye bastards that was that *looks left and right* *sees skulls sand skieeng directly beside me* me be like shet TO DA CHOPPER!!!
OMG i dont understand your point, Cant we assign them anything ? cant we just put them in any kind of missions or fob for security ? what is the use of them only the suites ? wTF ?
The myst skulls i obviously went with the killer bee from the mission, however, the armor skulls part was easy (after dying a couple times or 12), you realize you can counter their jumping attacks then mow them down with an m60 wile they are stunned (don't bring vehicles as they wont help and you will lose them). The snipers tho is another story, but counter sniping is way better than a rocket launcher and 5 million resupply drops (these drops would be more useful if you dropped them on their heads probably). You can do the stealth item or do it the normal way with lethal or non lethal sniper rifles, just make sure its a damn good one. Either way make sure to bring quiet along with a silenced rifle (dont ask for cover fire, as she will needlessly aggro them, instead ask her to shoot the one you are about to shoot, but shoot before her as she is less likely to miss than you), she will also mark them for you just like the dog.
I dont think the scene with the man on fire is a hallucination, but rather volgin realizing that venom isn't big boss, and having a moment of lucidity before shutting down for good, realizing that big boss isn't around for him to prosecute at all.
While the design of parasite soldiers is AMAZING, i find this whole parasite history kind of silly. I loved the old ways of the cobra unit/thunderbolt, their supernatural nature was just perfect. Sadly in MGSV they had to ruin 2 of them with the same parasite crap. Characters in MG need no major explanation of their powers. if you explain them you crap on them like vamp on MGS4
Sadly, the MGS:V bosses are all bullet sponges and boring. Its no secret that the presentation of the MGS:V Story is the most weak presentation in all Metal Gear Games.

You could kill the parrot from the end which makes him angry, you could hunt him through the woods so he loses stamina, you could ''freeze'' him with hands up and you got his Mosin, you could do so many things against the bosses in all the Metal Gear Games. MGS:V sadly was Bullet Sponge.

Just deliver head shots using Brennan with dot sight, takes them out in three hits max, best part is, it does damage to multiple Skulls if they are standing in a line
I remember doing that mission where you had to get away from or sneak around the Skull Snipers (what I call them) but then I went back and re-tried it but I decided to take them out and it took forever. I had to manually mark them.
To kill the Mist Unit, I just used the Brennan. I threw everything explosive at the armor ones, and the camo ones I went on Code Talker extreme and got in an EPIC sniper duel.. with non-lethals.
For female skulls, I think that using an anti-mat rifle and the camo is faster. Also quiet for taking the fire off of you sometimes and NVGs for spotting their lasers easier. It takes some time but I don’t think they jump away.

Or was he still actually confused until Ocelot tell this Snake who this guy was...? :S I'm pretty sure I listen to every cassette tapes and he mentioned about him to Snake, but he always does it, even though Snakes already know whatever information is being recorded, like a flashback or a reminder of what things are for the player who's probably clueless about the previous games or things they don't know or remember after playing.
Hyōkkuda so at the end of the game it shows in a tape that venom snake relived all of those memories while in the coma (someing like that) then to forget ocelot used self hypnosis
Seriously, how many times are you going to fire missiles into a tree before you realise what's going on? You know if you have a lock you can briefly aim away from the target and the missiles will go around and still hit. Aim up and fire and they will go over trees and come down on the target.
I hate how little closure you get in this game, sure there’s an ending, but it’s a little half assed and nothing important comes from it, there’s no meaningful insight revealed from defeating sahelanthropus. Sure, you could also argue that the plot twist ending is “revealing” or “insightful” but that also feels a little half assed, tbh. Not to mention that the important/interesting questions like “who’s the man on fire?” or “who are the skulls?”, “who is quiet?”, “what the hell happened to ocelot in between games, why is he like this now?”, “why is skull face so dramatic?” they either never get answered or have dumb answers
tip to acquire the first 2 types of skulls: use Quiet and she'll 2 shot them. DO NOT USE QUIET FOR THE SKULL WOMEN. use the brennan sniper for the skull women and camouflage.
Easiest easiest way to eliminate all of the skulls is using either the brennan or the sevral brennan one shots all of them except armor ones and even them are pretty valnurable against consecutive sevral shots
The parasite suit lets you turn invisible, gain armor, and create mist. It's only really useful for the armor, because the other two abilities you can get later albeit at much higher levels.

for doing all of the missions to capture these skulls I recommend using the Brennan LRS because headshot ting them is a shit ton of damage and using missiles takes a shit long time to kill especially reloading and having to call for supplies.

Well... That Quarantine in Mother Base didn’t worked that well as i was expecting
I mean, it's really stupid how they built it so close to the main base. COVID has taught me that they were really stupid, since an offshore platform ought to control the spread very easily, they didn't even isolate each deck from the others with testing on the bridges.
to defeat the camouflage skulls (the female one) i recommend using a sniper and the Stealth Camo
If you dont have the stealth camo, use the sniper with a silencer

why cant i fulton the skulls. Also how do it get the wormhole fulton?
you can fulton them after you get code talker at your base, wormhole unlocks when you complete side op 50 (which unlocks after mission 35)

The SPAS 12 Shotgun works very well on the mist skulls and the 50 Cal Sniper Rifle works very good on the Armor Skulls and the Lady Skulls as well.
That has worked great for me.
Beto patino,you should develop the Rasp-TB SG which will open up 4 versions of the shotgun.go to the last one which is the Rasp-TB SG SB (short barrel) and if you have your R&D level in the mid 50s and obviously Gmp,then you should be able to fully upgrade it to level 5.once it's done developing to lv.5, give it a try in mission 29 Metallic Archaea and you'll see how powerful the little shotgun can be 💪👍.and as for a sniper,get the A mrs- 71 sniper rifle or if you want something powerful, I suggest the Brennan L4RS

You dont really have to use rockets to take down the Skulls. Use the Brennan or the Serval heavy sniper rifle. Aim for their heads to get greater damage

OMG i dont understand your point, Cant we assign them anything ? cant we just put them in any kind of missions or fob for security ? what is the use of them only the suites ? wTF ?
You get their parasites, so you can develop a skull uniform and get their abilities.
The myst skulls i obviously went with the killer bee from the mission, however, the armor skulls part was easy (after dying a couple times or 12), you realize you can counter their jumping attacks then mow them down with an m60 wile they are stunned (don't bring vehicles as they wont help and you will lose them).
The snipers tho is another story, but counter sniping is way better than a rocket launcher and 5 million resupply drops (these drops would be more useful if you dropped them on their heads probably). You can do the stealth item or do it the normal way with lethal or non lethal sniper rifles, just make sure its a damn good one. Either way make sure to bring quiet along with a silenced rifle (dont ask for cover fire, as she will needlessly aggro them, instead ask her to shoot the one you are about to shoot, but shoot before her as she is less likely to miss than you), she will also mark them for you just like the dog.

I dont think the scene with the man on fire is a hallucination, but rather volgin realizing that venom isn't big boss, and having a moment of lucidity before shutting down for good, realizing that big boss isn't around for him to prosecute at all.
While the design of parasite soldiers is AMAZING, i find this whole parasite history kind of silly. I loved the old ways of the cobra unit/thunderbolt, their supernatural nature was just perfect. Sadly in MGSV they had to ruin 2 of them with the same parasite crap. Characters in MG need no major explanation of their powers. if you explain them you crap on them like vamp on MGS4

Yup, timer with volgin, you could scare him with frogs, or shoot the water pipes above him, so he shocks himself, you could use the raikov mask to make him think its raikov, you could feet The Fear rotten foot or make him think you die.
You could kill the parrot from the end which makes him angry, you could hunt him through the woods so he loses stamina, you could ''freeze'' him with hands up and you got his Mosin, you could do so many things against the bosses in all the Metal Gear Games.

I remember doing that mission where you had to get away from or sneak around the Skull Snipers (what I call them) but then I went back and re-tried it but I decided to take them out and it took forever. I had to manually mark them.

To kill the Mist Unit, I just used the Brennan. I threw everything explosive at the armor ones, and the camo ones I went on Code Talker extreme and got in an EPIC sniper duel.. with non-lethals.

For female skulls, I think that using an anti-mat rifle and the camo is faster. Also quiet for taking the fire off of you sometimes and NVGs for spotting their lasers easier. It takes some time but I don’t think they jump away.

What I never understood about this cutscene is; how 'Snake' know it's Colonel Volgan. THIS Snake I mean. He's not the real Snake. He never seen Volgan before so that doesn't make any sense. Or was he still actually confused until Ocelot tell this Snake who this guy was...? :S I'm pretty sure I listen to every cassette tapes and he mentioned about him to Snake, but he always does it, even though Snakes already know whatever information is being recorded, like a flashback or a reminder of what things are for the player who's probably clueless about the previous games or things they don't know or remember after playing.

Fitting how this got recommended to me today.
Seriously, how many times are you going to fire missiles into a tree before you realise what's going on? You know if you have a lock you can briefly aim away from the target and the missiles will go around and still hit. Aim up and fire and they will go over trees and come down on the target.
I hate how little closure you get in this game, sure there’s an ending, but it’s a little half assed and nothing important comes from it, there’s no meaningful insight revealed from defeating sahelanthropus. Sure, you could also argue that the plot twist ending is “revealing” or “insightful” but that also feels a little half assed, tbh. Not to mention that the important/interesting questions like “who’s the man on fire?” or “who are the skulls?”, “who is quiet?”, “what the hell happened to ocelot in between games, why is he like this now?”, “why is skull face so dramatic?” they either never get answered or have dumb answers

Easiest easiest way to eliminate all of the skulls is using either the brennan or the sevral brennan one shots all of them except armor ones and even them are pretty valnurable against consecutive sevral shots

The parasite suit lets you turn invisible, gain armor, and create mist. It's only really useful for the armor, because the other two abilities you can get later albeit at much higher levels.

for doing all of the missions to capture these skulls I recommend using the Brennan LRS because headshot ting them is a shit ton of damage and using missiles takes a shit long time to kill especially reloading and having to call for supplies.

Before everyone figured all the shit out in this game i saw the man on fire and i was like," i feel like kojma gonna pull a kojma and tell us that the man on fire is volgan or something." and when it came to finding out that venom snake was the snake we were playing in the beginning of the game when i made my character and then i saw that i was big boss i thought in my head,"Why do i look like big boss maybe I'm a fake big boss like venom from mgs1." Lol and behold i was in shock when i saw videos about those two
