Progress is progress! One could definitely argue that, I’m hopeful once the water system is in place and we’re terrorizing the neighborhood, then we’ll be better than 90% of SEMA builds 😅
Bro big balls to cut that dash and good on ya for going for it!!!! Not my build but I’d take that new dash plate and have it bead rolled by one of those many LA prodigies all around you. Add some detail to it!!!
Aha thanks man! Bead rolling it isn’t a bad idea, if I go that route I have to make sure I have all the pieces on the dash that I want first so I can add some detail, that’s a solid idea!
Thanks man! Starting to find a bit of a rhythm with getting these episodes weekly but are still documenting meaningful progress, this YT stuff is hard! 😅
Truly not at all! Getting anything out that documents progress is definitely difficult, especially when I don't have unlimited funds etc to just keep pushing, not a content making machine like the big kids aha
Love this stuff. Cutting into that dash is a bit terrifying 😂 If I may add- 18 gauge might be overkill- I only say that because it’s so hard to work with- I use 20 gauge is a bit easier. Also- don’t forget about glare on the digital dash- maybe recess the dash a bit back? 🤷🏻♂️ it’s your car- so whatever works for you man. Just a few things to consider.
Cutting into anything on this car is a little terrifying! Definitely feel like the 18 gauge was the right choice here, it’s reasonably stiff but bends nicely and thick enough to bolt too etc As for the glare! The dash pad sticks out enough to stop the glare thankfully, a little hard to see right now but it’ll be there soon. Appreciate your kind words! ❤️
I can understand that, I’m not a huge fan of the digital rounds, and sticking with Haltech products for this project as an overall theme has been my goal for a while
Oh hal-tech yah.
Always good to see another episode so soon after the last. In the 911’s defense, one could argue that this car runs better than many SEMA builds.

Cool channel bro, she's a beaut
Thanks! Hopefully some consistent progress coming 🙏🏻
Looking good!
Appreciate you Josh! ❤️
Let's go! You know I love my 5-stack, but the Haltech install does look pretty good. Cheers, Ras.
I absolutely adore the five stack too, but tackling that part of getting the original gauges to work with the new setup just wasn’t worth it to me!

Making some good progress on the 911! Good to see another episode!

@@hikari_rennwerke Yes this YT stuff is very tough. not at easy as they make it look.

Imma be honest, I do not like that display there. I saw someone else rebuild the dash with digital round units that look retro but is fully digital.
