I have your one of your drywall books, which has been very helpful! I discovered Fibafuse a couple of years ago, and it's an amazing product! I'm a DIYer and was faced with repairing large ceiling cracks in our cathedral ceiling. I was concerned about being able to get smooth results, but with the Fibafuse, it was really easy to do. I think it's the best product for taping, and it allows homeowners to achieve professional looking results. Thanks for continuing to post these videos. They are always so helpful!
When fiberfuse first came out, I tried using it in angles. When applied with a single blade, (not the double blade) it would cut the tape in the angle. That kind of defeats the purpose to using tape.
The reason people prefer paper over mesh tape is, because every job that you go on that has had mesh used usually has a small fine crack where the seems are. Especially if you use the bucket mud.

The fibafuse I have doesn’t have the void in the middle for creasing. What specific brand are you using?
they stopped making with the center crease. Wasn't really necessary and was perceived as a weak area
@@thatdrywallguySo you can still use it in corners despite it not having crease?
@@lukaskliment9646 Yes, I use it for inside corners just fine. My fibafuse tape also doesn’t have the mark in the middle for creasing.
