Beginner Series: Let's Talk About Timing

- Hey guys, here's another episode for the beginner series and this time I am going to talk about the basic idea for timing of the gear box and how to resolve some of the problems that may manifest when you have a particularly high ROF setup.
When you are going for a higher rate of fire, it's very important that the air seal nozzle is opening and closing at the right time, allowing proper feeding and sealing of the t-piece and this is where timing comes in.
Note that when I talk about timing in this video, I am assuming all the parts are working properly, no damaged parts, and that they are a perfect fit for the gear box. This is only talking about how timing works with regards to the sector gear, tappet plate, t-piece and the piston.

I hope u can make more video
STAY SAFE
Hi GJ, i have a 13 to 1 gears .. shooting 270fps on semi but shoots 150 fps on auto .. are these issues related to timing as well? The gels are shooting well though. Tried putying the shs delayer chip on and it doesnt make any difference. Im using the blue chihai 50k motor
That would be pre-engagement (google it to learn more). Put a bigger spring in or short stroke.
why are these chips so dear? $10 for a tiny bit of plastic is excessive, can you print them on like 100% infill and make them work?
