Beginner Series: Let's Talk About Timing
Hey guys, here's another episode for the beginner series and this time I am going to talk about the basic idea for timing of the gear box and how to resolve some of the problems that may manifest when you have a particularly high ROF setup.
When you are going for a higher rate of fire, it's very important that the air seal nozzle is opening and closing at the right time, allowing proper feeding and sealing of the t-piece and this is where timing comes in.
Note that when I talk about timing in this video, I am assuming all the parts are working properly, no damaged parts, and that they are a perfect fit for the gear box. This is only talking about how timing works with regards to the sector gear, tappet plate, t-piece and the piston.
