I'm not religious, but this song shows exactly why I love Christian music. Some of it can really express the love people have for their God, and how much love they feel from Him in return. Even if you're not Christian, you can't deny the pure soul in this music.

This song helped me so much during my darkest times. It showed how empty my life was without God in my life and ever since I have decided to be baptized a Catholic this upcoming Easter, I have never been happier in my life. I have finally beaten my demon after nine years! Thank you God.
I've been listening to Skillet since I was in middle school. I didn't know they were a Christian Rock Band until High school in my last year and it made my love for them grow more. This song in particular has a special place in my heart because it was one of the few songs from them my father loved dearly. He was a born-again christian and loved god with all of his heart. I lost him back in 2017 unexpectedly and I couldn't listen to this song for almost two years without wanting to break down into tears. Listening to this now, I'm still tearing up but I know in my heart that my dad is no longer in pain and he's up there with God doing what he loved the most. I miss you dad

I can relate a lot. I thought this band was just alternative rock and now realizing they're Christian rock. I also lost my father very suddenly in 2020. I know he would enjoy songs like these that I want to say, I've made it my quest in life to find more songs like these to share with my family to honor his memory.

To trust in god, love him with all their hearts, and forget the worlds deception. Im only 16 but within a short time i fell into gods arms, and am trying to trust him completely.

And they are still fighting for the refreshing and fulfilling love of God. They have strengthened me, my life and my faith for years now and they won't stop doing this. I heard this song on the radio and I started crying my eyes out. I felt the presence of God as soon as it started playing. I turn on this song when I want to worship and I feel the presence in the same room with me as soon as I play it. It's so true to what I have been going through. It's like Skillet knew everything that happened to me in the past year, and put everything I have done to keep my faith in Jesus, and put it in a song. March 25th cannot come fast enough! I'm am so excited to see them in concert!

It perfectly combines electronica with various types of slow rock, and has amazing lyrics that explains how God is truly there for you, and you have nothing to fear. For a christian rock song, this is beautiful, sad, and heavy all at the same time. With out bands like Skillet, the world would be much darker. Forever live Skillet!

It's Christmas time and I have a little light up star on my small table Christmas tree. The star dimmed out and died early in the evening and I know that means the battery is dead.. This song has special meaning to me as well. The first time I ever experienced God before I was saved. In despair, I prayed to a God that I didn't know. I went outside and saw a few shooting stars. That's when I felt Him for the first time. I gave my life to Jesus, got filled with the Holy Spirit, and it has been me and God ever since. It's amazing the things He does to reach us.

So, I'm gonna tell a story really quick. When I was 4 years old, my dad took everything my family had and left, and I mean everything. Left my stay at home mom, 3 sisters and me. We have been struggling financially ever since. But my mom is an amazing Christan woman. She didn't give up. She worked 2 jobs, homeschooled all 4 of us, went to medical school and got us to church every time the doors were open. Every time we thought we would be homeless or faced a hard time, God got us through it. With our amazing church family and my moms Faith and willingness to truth God through the hard times. Now my mom is an NR working at a hospital and we're doing well 😊God has truly blessed us! This song has so much meaning! It reminds me the Faith that my mom has, and that I should have too. When times get hard, I shouldn't fear, because the maker of the world is holding me in his hands! Oh, and now after so many, many years, my dad is wanting to change his life around and follow Jesus. God is good!

I didn't really know that Skillet was very religious for a while but the fact they make Christian music and make it also into some of the best music out there, that's straight magic. Keep making music Cooper.
Thankfully, my wife and I are Christians of the Oneness Apostolic Pentecostal belief. My wife recently was diagnosed with vascular dementia. Today I was driving home listening to the radio and the words to this song sunk in. Truly we can, and will, trust in the God the universe to hold it all together as we finish our journey and prepare for crossing the great divide.

How is it that a rock band like Skillet made a song about God that is better than like 99% of Christian Worship. It's quite incredible to me. One of my favorite lyrics of all time is from this song where it says " If you can hold the stars in place you can hold my heart the same." I love that.
I remember Skillet playing this song during a concert. NEVER in my life have I been raising my hands in worship to the Most High God with tears in my eyes to jumping up and down and head banging to The Resistance. I absolutely love this band. They saved my wife's life and helped me realize I needed some adjustments in my faith. Praise God for giving them such amazing talent😁😊

I think they should do skillet unleashed tour live on DVD like they did on skillet Comatose comes alive DVD it was released 2008.
I agree, to me, the list should include a song from each older album, totaling 9 from those ( or they could play 2 from each album from Skillet (the album) up to Alien Youth possibly, but that idea would be a 20th Anniversary concert DVD, even better) and do the popular songs from Unleashed (Feel Invincible, Back From the Dead, I Want to Live, Burn It Down, Undefeated, etc.), the 3 notably Christian songs, and conclude with The Resistance.
They have Awake and Live DVD and I agree they need to have another DVD!
